Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Stockton

The place was clean. The cashiers were nice, but I give it one star. I could just give it zero stars but it wont let me. The manager today wasnt that nice. Here is the story, My wife and I went there to order food. The cashier was friendly and nice. When we got our food, one of the burgers werent in the right wrapper and we didnt know. We took it back and the manager gave my wife a mean hateful attitude, he even scolded his cashier that he didnt do his job right. My wife said yes he did do it right. The items we ordered on the list is what we ordered but we dont see our burger. He gave my wife this mean look, grabbed one of the burgers and opened it. It was in one of those fish fillet wrappers but what we ordered was not a fish fillet. It was beef burger. He then covered it half way and shoved it back in the bag. There were customers in line waiting to order their food and he gave us an attitude. Some of the customers looked shocked the way he treated us and his cashier. We walked out and I said out loud we will not be coming back to this location anymore.

I like eating at jack in the box. I go there time to time when Im on the road or out of town but by far, this is one location we wont be...

Zero stars! Will never go again and will never recommend it to anyone!

I had went for a quick bite to eat and thought that this place must be great considering it has plenty of recent positive reviews.

Now I see the reviews must be coming from the workers or something because when I got food poisoning I was told, over the phone, to come back for a full refund of 35 dollars so long as I bring a receipt and the food but when I came to the window they tried to tell me that the system had crashed and that they couldn’t do anything about it but when another car pulled up behind me, it magically starting working.

Then she went through every single bag and every sandwich box and told me since I ate some of the food she can only give me 15.

Very unprofessional. When I worked in fast food I would always give a full refund to anyone who had fell ill from the food.

I tried explaining to her that the way you get food poisoning is by eating food so of course some of the food was going to be eaten. You don’t get food poisoning from smelling food. You don’t get food poisoning from looking at food! You get food poisoning from eating food.

Worst...

Update 5/23/20

The reviews that are saying the food was served in a timely matter and it was scrumptious has to be workers that work here or friends of the workers I've been doing doordash for over 2 years and they come to this location for a year and it's always busy and take a long to fulfill the order corporate needs to put this location on a timer. if your lobby is closed it makes no sense for your drive to be backed up out the parking lot because in your lobby open your drive is not as packed. I've literally had to debate with the workers about an order that I'm placing in fact a month ago one of the workers had nerve to tell me to go back around because I told them to hold on as a verified with my customer their order. I was in line for 45 minutes and then it's having to go back around and wait again because I tell you to hold on for 2 minutes is absurd. Corporate needs to come and regulate this place Badly. I'm not sure what's worst them messing up your order and making you repay to fix it or the fact everyone is being parked making the parking...
