Squeeze Inn — Restaurant in Stockton

Extremely rude and impatient service. I will never go there again. The food is good - Steak and Shake style hamburgers on buttered buns - good flavor and the fries were good as well. But poor service ruined the entire experience. The person waiting on our table kept interrupting us and motioning with her hand for us to hurry up. When our order was delivered the same person carried the catsup bottle to our table under her arm - literally in her arm pit. And finally, it took a GOOD 15 to 20 minutes to pay for our bill. They were very busy but instead of acknowledging the fact that we were waiting and apologizing (we were 10 feet away from her and obviously waiting to pay for our bill) she simply ignored us until she had time...

My wife, four our our kids and I stopped in on a Saturday just after opening. Our service was great, we were greated right away, our drinks were brought quickly, along with refills kept up on. My wife and I ordered the squeeze burger, my oldest daughter the steak sandwich, my two young boys mac and cheese, and my youngest daughter sat in her car seat and watched us eat it all. We also got a large fry. Our food was brought promptly. All if it was spot on on flavor. My wife did mention the burger wasnt hot enough for her liking, however the condiments appear to be kept real cold which is nice. The sandwich is real juicy and can be messy, however we were given directions on how to enjoy it. Definitely be on a return list when...

CHEESE SKIRT! Sorry, had to get that out of the way, if you go here, get it, maybe twice, ask if she'll make you a skirt to go or something. 😂

Seriously though, it's a skirt of cheese around your burger if you get it with cheese. It's browned, and crispy, and awesome. The skin on fries are good too, especially with cheese. They almost seem like they're made in a cast iron pan instead of deep fried. Not quite as crispy as I like, but great nonetheless.
