This was our first time here, and we did take-out. Ordered 3 lunch specials and some appetizers to go. Maybe a dine-in experience would have gone better but for takeout, my experience was really disappointing. The hostess was nice but the food we got was very much like high school cafeteria food. Like the other reviews, the egg fried rice had absolutely no flavor and almost no egg in there, on top of the small portion. It looked like it'd just been scooped out of a pot that's been sitting there all day. The two chips on the side were also just kind of sad looking... The only upside was that the chicken tasted a little better than it looked and the chicken and mushroom soup was adequate. Maybe we'll try dining in next time for a better experience, if we ever decide to return.

The food is very good for a simple chinese food. Is more Americanize than traditional Chinese food. My first visit was with my son. We order lunch plates, on a Saturday which not lot Chinese restaurant have them or charge you $1 or $2 for it. He order BBQ Chow Mein with egg fried rice and I order Eight Delicacies w/steam rice And on side their Plum sauce noodles and fried chicken . It was very good and plum sauce noodles was excellent. My son is picky eater and he.love the noodles. I highly recommend the Plum Sauce Noodles.

Good chow mein noodles and fried rice. I like that the noodles aren't overly greasy. A lil more meats would be appreciated, so it's not mostly rice or noodles. Fast service.

‼️‼️ February 8, 2025 THEY HAVE REOPENED‼️‼️

BUT BE CAREFUL‼️ Four hours after I ate I had to run to the bathroom really quick…TWICE, if you know what I mean. My son and I were anxious to try it on their second day of being open. We pretty much shared the same food except for the sliced barbecue pork. The pork was dark around the edges… kind of like it was old. I think that might’ve been the culprit. Who knows how long they had that in the freezer. It was not even warm when they served it so I don’t think it was fresh. ‼️Just a heads up‼️ —————— Update: Sunday, December 17, 2023 PM Sadly I’m downgrading this restaurant again. Consistency seems to be a problem with Chinese restaurants. Sometimes you hit it on a good night and everything is made fresh and tasty… Other times, like tonight, you get what taste like leftovers or something that had been made a couple hours earlier. Tonight I basically ordered the same thing I had last time. Sizzling rice soup which was very good. Potstickers were very good. Then I ordered the combination plate for one which included fried rice, sweet-and-sour pork, egg roll, and a couple of shrimp. The eggroll had been double deep-fried presumably to reheat it. It was terrible‼️ The rice was normal…average. The sweet-and-sour was miserable. Soggy! I was hoping it would’ve been as good as last time which was very good but not so. The shrimp were not cooked fresh to order. Again, consistency is the key. And when a person pays good money for food it should be made hot and fresh to order. I can stay home and have reheated food! I’d like to think that I am going back but if I do, I definitely will specify that I want my food cooked fresh and hot to order‼️

———————- Update:Thursday, December 7, 2023, p.m.

Have to add a couple of stars for my dinner tonight. It actually was enjoyable. I ordered the dinner for one which is a combination plate for $16. You get your choice of the main entrée. I chose sweet-and-sour pork. The sweet-and-sour pork was quite good. There were actual chunks of pork rather than just battered fat like you get at some Chinese restaurants.

The dinner was very good except for the shrimp. You get two shrimp with the combination plate…both of them were barely warm and obviously had been cooked quite a while before my dinner. I would appreciate for the whole dinner to be hot and fresh next time.

I also started with sizzling rice soup which was very good. I had it last time I ate there….that’s why I re-ordered. The broth actually has flavor unlike some Chinese restaurants where it taste more like hot water!

I had a great server. I don’t remember her name but my glass was never empty. This restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere. It’s a neighborhood restaurant in the old Raleys Shopping center on the corner of Hammer and Don Avenue. I’m looking forward to returning.

————————— Pretty much average Chinese food. Nothing really stood out. The sizzling rice soup was good. The deep-fried chicken wings were probably the worst I’ve ever had. Too much batter. Too little chicken. The batter was very nondescript with no flavor at all. I would never order them again! The fried prawns had too much batter. The eggroll was just OK. The pork fried rice was OK. The cashew chicken was good. The service was good. The Diet Coke was good. The paper napkins held together through the whole dinner. I continue my quest for extraordinary...

I'm not sure why the rating is so high we went here because it had a good rating and it was close to the freeway but the food was SO bland. The restaurant had a nice Chinese theme and that's the only good thing about it but there were a few people eating, we were the only Asians there when we got in I could already tell it wasn't authentic we should just have walked out but we were so hungry. The breading on the shrimp was so thick you can hardly taste the shrimp. Dip was bland. Soup was bland. Fish was bland. Nothing tasty. One of the lowest in taste Chinese restaurants I've ever been to. I won't be back here again. The 2 stars I gave are only for the presentation of the restaurant,...
