Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Stokesdale

Did you know it's National Pizza Day? What an awesome reason (excuse) not to cook! We have ordered from this location for both pick up and delivery. I love the contactless option for both scenarios. They get the order right every time and it's always delicious. Sadly, they no longer have the cheese stuffed garlic knots but that's ok. I ordered the Ultimate Cheese Lovers pizza with the garlic Alfredo as the sauce and the garlic butter crust flavor. Hubs always get the pan Super Supreme which is the same as the Supreme but with olives. Today we also ordered the Apple turnovers. OMG. I ordered online and put to cut the Supreme into squares. The medium and the large are both cut into 8 pieces. I special requested for my large to be cut into 16 pieces. You can eat more because the pieces are small. Get it?! Since we paid for delivery, we always double our order so we have "safety stock" in the freezer. I also Googled for a better coupon and saved 30%! Of course we tipped because times are tough. I didn't order it tonight but I've had and recommend the chicken Alfredo. It comes with 5 breadsticks and I upgraded to add cheese....

I JUST ATTEMPTED TO PLACE A PIZZA HUT ORDER ON LINE, THE WEB SITE WASN'T WORKING SO I HAD TO CALL PIZZA HUT OF OAK RIDGE, WOW BIG MISTAKE, TOLD WOMAN ON PHONE I WANTED TO PLACE A LARGE CREATE YOUR OWN PIZZA FOR CARRY OUT $12.99 WITH 5 TOPPINGS. FROM THE START WOMAN ON PHONE DIDN'T LISTENTO MY ORDER AND ASKED IF I WANTED A SUPREME PIZZA TOLD HER NO AND REPEATED WHAT I WANTED, THAT ITS THE ONLINE PRICE. AFTER SHE RANG IT UP I WAS TOLD $24 INSTEAD OF THE $13.87 ON LINE. I WAS THEN TOLD THAT I HAVE TO ORDER IT ON LINE TO GET THAT PRICE, WELL I'D ALREADY TOLD HER THE WEB SITE IS DOWN, OR JUST WOULDN'T LET ME PAY. I ASKED TO SPEAK TO MANAGER AND HE REFUSED TO TALK TO ME , HE TALKED THROUGH HER. APPARENTLY PIZZA HUT IS NOT HURTING FOR BUSINESS LIKE SOME OTHER COMPANIES. We received $15 in Pizza Hut Gift Checks for Christmas from some friends or family. The checks were issued from Pizza Hut and made payable to Pizza Hut. This store refused to accept them as they explained they do not take checks! These are NOT personal checks, they were issued by your own company! It's a shame we will no longer do business here as they are very conveniently located, but I won't hesitate to drive just a bit further to order pizza from the competition down the road. I normally only provide reviews when the customer service or product is excellent as I think most people take the time to complain rather than give praise, but not today.
