Last night my wife and I stopped in for what we would expect to be an normal small pizza joint experience. The tea came out and was spoiled. I used to run a restaurant and know the taste of spoiled tea well. They need to clean the urns by disassembling them and bleaching the individual parts.
My wife is highly allergic to beef, so we asked if the pepperoni was beef or pork. It will cause her throat to swell up to the point she cannot breath. The waiter asked the back and they told her it was both beef and pork. We told her she was allergic to beef and the Waiter over heard me ask my wife is she had her epipen. So my wife ordered a custom Stromboli with ham broccoli, & spinach. After a rather long wait, the food came out (not a big deal by itself). My wife inspected the food before eating and it had pepperoni in it. My wife took it to the counter, and the cook decided to “educate” my wife what she had actually ordered. My wife corrected him that she absolutely told the waiter that she was allergic to beef, and his tone caused me to interject
While we waited an additional 25 min for my wife's remake we observed another carryout gentleman that ordered a calzone and they gave him a Stromboli. He to was “preached to” by the same cook about the difference between the two. The customer responded, “yes, i ordered the right thing”. He waited 25 min for his remake as well. We also observed a family that was served the same spoiled tea that I had alerted the to earlier that they just chose not to resolve the problem.
We paid over $50 for 2 people. There was no attempt to comp us for them attempting to poison my wife or our additional 25 min wait. This joint is Over priced, has bad customer service and have just average food.
I dont recommend eating here. If there was an option to give 0...
Read moreAre you ready for this? Village Pizza to me is the best authentic pizza joint in the entire county. They are not overpriced like some joints are in Greensboro and around. Let's get down to what you need to know. 1.The pizza dough is perfect, in fact baked to perfection. 2. The sauce is mind blowing. 3. The meatballs will put a smile on your face in two seconds. 4. The marinara sauce is sooooo tasty and flavorful you'll wanna drink like a refreshing cold beer, yes it is that good. 5. The service is friendly, down to earth, and professional all while carrying a cool vibe. Today was my first time ordering from Village Pizza and it's going to be my new pizza joint from now on - Yes i'm breaking up with those other pizza places I use to frequent, because they cannot even touch nor even compare to these guys! Keep it up Luigi and everyone else there. You're...
Read moreWish I could leave a zero star review but I can’t. The food was alright but the waitress ruined our whole experience. We were the ONLy table in the whole place so they can’t use that as an excuse. the girl that was working was extremely rude. she only filled up our drinks once. the other time i had to ask the boy that brought our food out to get me drink. she basically threw everything on the table. then proceeded to stand at the register and talk about how we didn’t leave her a tip. i’ve been a waitress before for several years and they way she treated us doesn’t get you a tip. Not sure what her issue was but she was extremely rude and just hateful. will NEVER be eating here again. they need to hire people that actually want to work and don’t just want to sit on their phone and not take care of...
