McDonald's — Restaurant in Stonington

Only gave it one star because I couldn't give it zero. I rarely eat fast food but once in a great while (twice a year maybe) we get it for a treat on a busy day. Upon arrival there is no one at the counter but after a minute some one appears and says "oh you need to use the kiosk". As I look over I see another couple at one of the kiosks and they look frustrated. So I approach and ask one of my children what she would like and of course she orders something difficult and menu altering. Ok so I try ordering a chicken sandwich meal and after a few minutes I hit the call for help button. A few minutes later someone comes and tells me the reason why I can't find it is because it doesn't come in a meal. Ok no problem. So I finally finished my order and then go to the table. The food comes, the fries are hot that's a bonus but unfortunately my burger was stone cold. I brought it to the counter and asked if they could heat it so they did however then the bun was weirdly hard from the microwaving. After taking two bites my daughter pulls a long curly hair out of her sandwich. We both wanted to vomit right there. There was a soda spill near the soda fountain machine that had not been cleaned up (still half wet but sticky all around) the ketchup pumps were both empty, one of the fountain machines ice machine doesn't work. As we were eating one of the workers dropped a hot fudge Sunday on the floor and ten minutes later it was still on the floor. I don't think I will ever go back. I did not get a photo of the hair in the sandwich...

I don't know who was running the shift but I can tell you I stopped by for lunch with my parents around 12:15pm. I ordered a BBQ and bacon crispy chicken sandwich meal and it was the worst chicken sandwich I've had in a long time. The young man behind the counter wasn't in uniform and when I bit into the sandwich it was tough and dry. I took a second bite thinking it was just some gristle but the entire chicken was rubbery and cold. When I went to the counter I asked for a new sandwich and told the manager what was wrong. She tool my food and told the grill. That gentleman was less than pleased with my request and asked FBI wanted just the chicken or a new sandwich. I asked for a new sandwich and said "well he is going to wait 5 mins for then" I know how long it takes to drop fresh chicken. I got the new sandwich and the first few bites were good, the chicken was fresh up until half way through and it was the same story again. A rubber hockey puck between 2 pieces of bread. I have 11+ years of Mcdonalds experience in all areas of the store and never have I come across such lack of care it takes to serve fresh and hot food. I am sincerely...

Awful.. Slow and incompetent is an understatement at the least. We sat at the drive thru for over 20 min with 4 cars ahead of us. This was around 10 am Sunday morning. We ordered 2 breakfast burritos and 1 Carmel iced coffee with 1 liquid 1 cream. After finally receiving our order the burritos were falling apart and barely edible. There were no napkins and one pico. The only thing right was the coffee.. That's a miracle. We did the receipt survey and receive a free coffee. So we redeem it the same day at the same McDonald's. Agian it was about 1:30pm, we ordered the same Carmel iced coffee 1 liquid 1 cream. When we gave the receipt to the casher she screamed obnoxiously "I need a manager". It took the manager 5 mins to come help her. Then another 5 minutes just to get our coffee. They ended up giving us the wrong coffee, probably 4 sugar 4 cream. Also, we didn't recieve a receipt. The inside of the restaurant was a disaster. There was trash left on tables. The mens room didn't have toilet paper or paper towels.. The only thing going right were the weeds being pulled out outside by the maintenance worker. Good...
