Hardee’s — Restaurant in Storm Lake

Stopped in for breakfaat on our way to a family vacation, and because we had 2 orders in the car, we went in instead of drive through. There were only 2 people, who seemed in no hurry to do anything.

The ceiling was dripping in 3 spots with buckets under the drips which was directly in front of the front counter.

As we walked in, a car pulled to the drive through window, they were still there waiting when we left.....

We ordered and stated we needed them to go.

During the time we waited for our order, 2 groups came in, stood and waited for someone to come to the front to take their order, and left be cause they stood for over 10 minutes without service.

45 minutes after our order was taken, we got our food. The car in the drive thru was still waiting, the other groups had left, and we headed for our car...... to find cold food.

Glad I dont live in the area and will not subject myself to this...

I didnt even want to give one star, that’s how upset I am about my experience. My husband and I have been coming here for YEARS!!!! First of all, the poor young lady on frontline seemed to be by herself was struggling between drive thru and the customers inside!! She took a while to take our order but she was very sweet. We went to go get a drink and there was NO SPRITE!!! NO DIET OR COKE ZERO!!!! My husband is diabetic and could not have any of the other drinks and this has never happened to us. I couldn’t have my food without my drink so we decided to ask for a refund and leave!!! What’s happening Hardee’s?!?? This isn’t the first time either. As I was waiting for my order, I noticed one employee was not wearing gloves as she was filling 2 small hash browns. The employee is jumping from front counter to cook on top of that. They already messed the order up because I ordered 2 medium hashbrowns. I confronted them and they had bad attitude about their mess ups. They said it was going to be a little wait for new ones. As I watched them put the old hashbrowns on top of the new ones, I was very upset about the poor service of having to wait on “new hashbrowns” but still received the finger touched old hashbrowns that cross contaminated with the new ones. Poor service due to consistency of week to week mishaps. I order every Sunday same thing and for some reason for they can’t get anything right. I had to demand a refund...
