Tienda El Mexicano 2 — Restaurant in Storm Lake

Spent $60.00, but the men in the back packaging my fresh meats, kept talking smack about me, laughing in my face, then walked away. I wasn't done ordering fresh meat when the 1st guy walked away laughing at me. So a 2nd one came to help me all the while laughing practically in my face. I was trying to speak spanish to make it easier, and used to speak it fluently. But the MS has destroyed my brain and I lost most of my 2nd language. But literally bought only 3 packages of meat, limes and an onion, and the guys in the back couldn't show me some dignity. So I will NEVER step foot in there again. Thanks for the terrible humiliating experience. P.s. If I could give zero stars I would. Pray no one treats your mother and father or siblings like ya'll treated me.

To the person who responded to my review-It happened same day I wrote review, and like 15 minutes before I wrote the review. The man in the front was kind and friendly as he is always, but the ones in the back were a different story. We've went there for years, and never had problem till last night. But now too humiliated to step foot in there. If I do, It will be for groceries only, not for fresh meats. And again, they should think before they act like fools, cuz they wouldn't like it if anyone treated their handicapped family like...

Hands down the best Tacos in town. That is not something easily obtained in Stormlake when there is 6 restaurants that serve authentic tacos. Lived here for 2 years now we eat tacos 3 days or more a week. Another location in town use to be our favorite till a couple weeks ago we did a taco tour one night.

We set out to eat 2 tacos at every place in town at the end of the night everyone agreed El Mexicano 2 was the BEST.

The food served here tastes much more authentic than any other mexican restaurant I've been to. Not only do they serve food, but you can buy fresh meat, goods, and tools to prep food. It is quite small of a restaurant and can feel cramped when they have foods fully stocked.
