Beef teriyaki was excellent— very tender, juicy, and flavorful. We ordered chicken combo plates which comes with pork fried rice. The rice wasn’t very flavorful, but unlike other places it was not greasy. General Gau’s did not have any spice to it even though it’s labeled as spicy and we asked for it to be extra spicy. We also got the sesame chicken which was very good. We ordered the food and it was ready within 20 mins. Pick up was easy. Drove 15 mins home and the food was still very hot and both chicken dishes still had its crisp (crunch)! the boneless spareribs were a bit tough, but it was still good. The egg rolls has pork in them. While it tasted like it was frozen rather than fresh (either ordered or homemade and then frozen), the egg roll was not oily and maintained a light crisp.

My favorite Chinese restaurant from my childhood changed owners and the food is terrible now. I have been trying many different places with no luck finding anything close to what grew up enjoying. I got a menu from Yummy House in the mail a couple weeks ago and actually threw it away because it wasn't in my town.
