When people from Hershey, PA recommend this diner as a must try, it’s on my radar. And it did not disappoint on hot fresh food, pleasant servers, great cook and those desserts in the case inside front door are baked and brought up from Baltimore, MD! ! Our server, RACHEL, ROCKED, with her engaging personality, her on pointe service and ability to multitask throughout. The broiled seafood plate included plump shrimp, haddock, scallops and a homemade crab cake with 2 sides, $17.95. Hot & fresh, satisfying and served right from broiler. Nice. I opted for the FEAST: scrambled eggs, home fries, toast, 2 bacon strips, 2 sausage links, French toast and/or pancakes. Very filling and hot! $8.95. One star deduction for no butter. I cannot digest margarine and so requested DRY. Now, the interior isn’t decorated with high tech and that urban chic some folks look for in a restaurant, however, look beyond the dated walls and you’ll be pleasantly surprised what this eatery serves only five miles from city center of Gettysburg near Route 15. Love the Broiled seafood combo! And the staff was super friendly and accommodating throughout. Best of all, that dessert case right inside the entrance has bakes specialty desserts from Baltimore, MD. The cinnamon roll top & bottom with cheesecake in the middle! $5, totally worth every cent! Stop by only 5 miles from city center of Gettysburg.

Very typical diner but with some nice positives. Staff is really friendly and very good. Importantly, the food was good and super affordable! Delicious bowl of chili and they agreed to cook my omelette in butter. Thank you! Homemade Blueberry muffin was tasty but barely had any blueberries. Coffee was good and constantly full! My companions both enjoyed their meal. It's attached to a truck stop with gas station which is convenient. Service was slow at times which was frustrating but it's a sizeable place and our server was overwhelmed/busy. She was really cool and friendly so we didn't mind. Would definitely return when we're in the area.

You may be surprised upon visiting this simple little diner. Out back There is a dirt parking lot with a few tractor trailers parked in various directions. Outside the building, it looks like it hasn't had a facelift in this century. However, it doesn't matter what you order. Once you try a few of the meals on the menu, you will go out of your way and pass other diners to come eat here. I'm a trucker, and I go 75 miles out of the way to have their French toast!!! I recommend the hunters town feast.

Absolutely love this place from the minute you walk on you can't help but get the feeling that your a regular not many places feel like a family owned place anymore but that's exactly the feeling you get the staff is great and friendly they are very accommodating and even when I made a strange request to a change in one of there dishes they did not hesitate it also showed me that they make there food from scratch and not that pre-made frozen stuff alot of big chain restaurants use they went above and beyond to make sure i was comfortable and had help considering im in a wheelchair the waiter even insisted he hold the door for us on the way in and out and when we had our hands full on the way out he helped carry our take home boxes to the car for us one of the very few places u can get breakfast round the clock to and had great prices I also belong to an app that shows where someone can find displacement camping and this particular place is listed on that app it just asks that you park in the back (i have not verified this with the owners ) but it is on the app and considering most people around the area call the diner a truck stop im assuming its correct at...

Now if folks from Hershey share that it's a place to stop & dine on our way to Gettysburg, then it's a go. Shout out to all the special ladies working out front, the head cook and bottle washer and especially RACHEL, our sweet server, who ROCKED with her quick wit and engaging personality. On pointe and aims to please. Now as another reviewer noticed the old interior, etc, it may look old but surely didn't serve old food. LOL First, our broiled seafood was amazing for $17.95, 2 sides all FRESH. I like breakfast anytime, so, I ordered the FEAST: 2 scrambled eggs, home fries, dry white toast, 4 slices of bacon with French toast and a pancake. $8.95. Super fresh, made hot! Folks, head on down to this place full of awesome sauce, literally. LOL. Great to try and at least if you don't like it, it'll only cost you a few clams. BTW: that dessert case as you walk in has these homemade cakes, pies and cheesecakes in...
