I'm only reviewing my impression of the owners and the conversation that we had for five stars, I haven't actually tasted the ice cream but I'm trusting my intuition that it will be top shelf and I'm sure that this fifth star is not going anywhere when I complete my review after bringing my niece, nephew & wife here in a few weekends. This place reminds me of ice cream parlors I frequented as a child. There's an early 40s era, unrestored jukebox complete with a selection of (mainly classic Sun records fare} 45 inch LPS (which perfectly complement the atmosphere) sitting in the corner of the hardwood floored main room. Daylight shines through huge picture windows in abundance and bounces off the floors nicely aged finish to give the large main room a fantastic ambiance and set off all the chrome details. That atmosphere is just the extra topping on the wonderful treat that this place will certainly be for you if you stop by. Route 66 travelers: don't miss this place, it won't let you down as you walk through door and find yourself suddenly enveloped in an intoxicating whirl of nostalgic Americana. It'll bring you back. I stopped to shoot these photos when I was tired from a brutally busy day of work but I'm so glad I did. Don't forget to chat with the owners, they're good folks! Here's an added note also, they do have no sugar added ice cream for all you folks with dietary...
Read moreWe heard about this place at a recent event at the Ozark Empire Fair Grounds. Our work team decided to have an ice cream social and we are glad we went. I tried their ice cream pie, which was a pue crust made to fit their bowls and your choice of ice cream, topped with whipped cream, and if needed, cherry or strawberry syrup. The coconut castaway was really good in the pie crust! We took home Rich and Famous.
Thanks for a...
