My dinner tonight was so absolutely delicious!
I ordered a wing/perch combo dinner, 1/2 chicken dinner, okra, and an extra huge container of coleslaw bc it’s the bomb. For dessert the taffy grapes.
First off, the chicken breast was so juicy and seasoned to perfection! The okra was crisp, not greasy and hands down the best fried okra I have ever had! They pepper up the coleslaw which is killer!
I am not going to lie, I was not impressed with the mild sauce when I first started coming here about a year ago. I could not understand the hype…..Today, I actually devour it! Lol. It grows on you the more you have it! Imagine a sweet BBQ sauce but magnified. They even sell it by the gallon!
The taffy grapes were good as well. They come from a local spot called The Cake Factory, located in Alsip. They are green grapes half dipped in white chocolate and rolled in crushed peanuts. Pretty awesome and not overly sweet!
The prices are so reasonable!!!! Thank-you for not raising your prices when everyone else is!

The food was amazing nothing like that city feeling,the wait was a bit long but they did have alot of people coming ordering buckets of chicken. So with that we expected to have a wait. you had some people being really impatient but the food was worth the wait and the workers did a excellent job they were packed but they held it down.
