Weedline Grill — Restaurant in Stuart

Came here for the first time the other day I like they say all the best restaurants are closed on Monday. This place is open just slightly over mediocre. Very friendly people! We were sat down we're greeted promptly by the hostess and waitress. I ordered conch salad which you need a lot of pepper to get to my standard. I specifically told the waitress I did not want a sandwich when she offered the black grouper locally caught from Fort Pierce because I didn't want any bread. She offered me a Yellow Tail and I asked her how it came she told me it came like a fillet blackened & seared I'm thinking I'm getting an entree as she is describing it. I waiting for it to arrive it's a fish sandwich with two of the smallest pieces of fish I've ever seen! Lots of bread which I did not want. My buddy got the Mahi basket which he really enjoyed he said it was very fresh but for $77 for lunch for two I'm going to have to pass I'm coming back to this place. There's no view except for the road so $77 for lunch doesn't really sit right with me. We had (2)Coronas , (1) Conch Salad (1 )Yellow Tail sandwich 🥪 and (1) Mahi Basket 🧺. The fish was seasoned very well but very meager portion for the price tag. This is the new gem in my neighborhood! Super friendly service. Very clean and roomy seating inside and out. The menu is small... Weedline grill just opened up and they are focusing on a smaller menu as they ramp up their offerings. What they have is good though! They have a different catch of the Day available as a dinner or a sandwich... This fish choice changes every few days. Hamburgers cheeseburgers a Cuban sandwich, a pulled pork sandwich and pork tacos are the Staples of the menu. The beer is cold! Outside seating on the patio with your dogs or with groups. There are a few outdoor games and the lighting and the vibe is just great tropical! My one suggestion from my first experience there is to double the size of the fries, And throw a pickle on the plate. Best to be known for the place that "gives you all those fries" then as the place that doesn't! I recently had a cheeseburger and fries at a different establishment in downtown Jensen which I also reviewed ...and I got to say... THAT'S where I'm going for a cheeseburger and fries. But Weedline Grill, you have my vote And my Business when it comes to a neighborhood bar that I can walk to and hang out, outside with a beer. Dined outside under tiki hut. Felt cozy for 4 people even though it could seat 8 comfortably. We started w/the Mahi Fish Dip which is excellent w/a subtle green onions. Our entree was the fresh Black Grouper/blackened. The portion was large & it was so good I couldn"t stop eating it. Our waitress explained their fish is fresh and not stockpiled in lockers frozen for weeks at a time like many restaurants do. Fries are crunchy & very tasty. My gal friend had hers w/the quinoa salad & she ate every bit of it. The guys had the BBQ Burger Special w/crispy onions, & real bacon. The burgers are huge & cooked perfectly to med rare as ordered. Our waitress was very attentive. Only thing missing was live music we had enjoyed on a previous visit. The waitress explained they were trying something new that evening & the musician was very good.
