Terrible service, grinder was awful. Please stay away from this Subway, unless you want to be very disappointed! Fortunately for locals, they have another Subway not too far away that has much better service & overall quality. We recently ordered a foot long steak & cheese from this Subway & it was inedible, honestly so bad that we each took one bite & that was it for both me & my fiance. It was absolutely smothered in mayonnaise, when we only wanted (and asked for) a normal amount, not heavy on the mayo. I mean, it was literally drowning in mayo...so gross! The bread (regular Italian) was also hard as a rock, so definitely not fresh. Steak was chewy, as if it was overcooked. We were really looking forward to sharing this grinder, as we don't get Subway too often & both craving steak & cheese. I will go to the West Street Subway location (next to Dollar General, in the Dunkin' plaza) from now on if I'm in Ware & want a grinder. Read moreWhat is UP with this Subway?! My husband and I live in town and have gone to this location 3 times in the past 2 months, including our last time tonight, on 3/4/25. It was 6:00pm, and ONCE AGAIN, they were out of all bread (with the exception of only wheat), out of roast beef, out of turkey, out of vegetables. The poor kid behind the counter had to turn people away. Probably not what he wanted to do, nor did he want to have to tell the hungry truckers in line that there was barely any food in the shop. This location is unfairly setting their employees up for failure over & over again, by not having food available. This location needs to either get their act together and actually stock the place with food, or shut it down. There is zero excuse for you to be out of food time & time again. One comes out notices 3 of us in line. Instead of helping the customer. Subway walks over to pilot counter and gets one of the cashiers to come do the work while she just stands there talking. No working on next Customer or the current customer. So my turn in line comes up and I'm treated as tho I'm not even standing there she continues to conversate with pilot employees.
