Wayside Pizza — Restaurant in Sudbury

We placed a party order for kids birthday. We ordered cheese and veggie pizzas for kids and falafel / hummus / tahini / spinach rolls for adults. Kids loved the cheese and veggie pizza, adults loved the falafels, spinacotta rolls and the tahini. The pizza bread was very spongy/fluffy and fresh. We were happy it was different from the usual commercial pizza joints. Falafels and Tahini were the best (we were told the chef who runs the joint specialized in Mediterranean/Egyptian food). The hommus we ordered was a little too garlicky for my liking but could have suited garlic lovers. Lastly want to mention the staff here are so sweet. The lady who my wife spoke to (sorry blanking out on her name) for placing the order was very pleasant, was good with follow up and ensured everything went smooth through delivery. I used to order from here on doordash and never stopped in the food was great so I kept ordering. One day I stopped in about 10 min minutes before my pizza was supposed to be ready. While I waited I chatted with on of the owners, she was so lovely and kind, told me all about their business, offered suggestions for the kids, and my favorite part, let me sample one of the cookies while I waited. My mind was blown. The cookies are delicious. I paid her a compliment and she showed me the gaint high quality chocolate bar she uses and explained she makes all the cookies herself.

This has created me so many wonderful problems, I had to cut out doordash so I could pickup the food and talk with the lovely owners, and I have to now have delicious cookies when I do family pizza night.

Wayside Pizza is our new go-to for takeout. The pizza is very cheesy, flavorful, and covered in fresh toppings, and a large feeds both of us for 2 - 3 meals! The Greek salad is one of the best I've had from a takeout place, with tons of feta and all sorts of delicious veggies. Tonight we tried a sub and a gyro dinner - they were equally as good as all the other food we've had from them (including some seriously amazing fries), and yet again we will have a whole second meal with the leftovers. The owners are incredibly nice, as well - very welcoming, extremely fast, and they've even treated us with free cookies and baklava. I have nothing but good things to say about this addition to Sudbury; hope it stays for many...
