☆ This review is for the Sugarhill Location Only☆

My family and I went here specifically to celebrate Father's Day because that was my late husband's favorite place for fries so we wanted to celebrate him by sharing one of his favs.

Immediately upon receiving our order, we went straight for the fries and they were lukewarm, almost cold so I took them back up to the counter where I spoke to Annette about the issue. She turned and asked the kitchen staff if the fries were fresh (instead of tossing them and supplying new fries). I asked them to please do a test. After one of the guys in the kitchen squished the fry with his fingers, I was told they would make more and bring them out.

When the replacement fries arrived, they were burned, hard, and extremely crunchy...they tasted like they were the original fries, just re-dipped in the hot oil and then served to me. I spoke to a gentleman staff member that was cleaning tables, asking him about the manager on duty. He said the official manager, Charlie, wasn't there but his daughter, Annette, was there. I asked him if he could please let her know I wanted to speak to her. Instead of Annette coming out, a different female staff member came out and told me that Annette was busy.

Because we were so hungry, we ate what we could of the 2 small fries. I would NOT have EVER taken the fries back yet again, especially because of the service I received when I took the fries back! Shame on the staff member that said I brought the fries to the counter a second time (2x) and that I ate all of them. Please check the video footage and you will see that I didn't bring the fries back a second time and that there were fries that remained uneaten

Please see attached image

Very long story shortened a bit = I went back up to the counter to wait on Annette to have a conversation and when she saw I was standing at the counter, she disappeared around the corner and the staff insisted that she left even though I saw her with my own eyes. I finally gave up and took Charlie's number and informed them that I would be back the following day.

When I went back, I was able to speak to Charile. At the beginning of our conversation he was pretty closed off to what I had to say, citing that so many people come to complain about their orders and want things. However, when I insisted that I didnt ask for new fries or my money back the night of the incident and that I was NOT trying to get new fries, nor, was I asking for a refund even after driving over 20 mins back up there to have a conversation with him, he started to listen to what I had to say. He took my cell phone image that I showed him back to his kitchen staff and used it as a teachable moment. The fact that I didn't get the respect deserved until after sharing with him that I was NOT trying to get free food or my money back... WOW.... that spoke VOLUMES.

In the end, thank you, Charlie, for using this as a teachable moment for your staff. Please also know that not everyone is trying to get...

This restaurant is hostile to handicap people. Employees rudely tell customers that because the Culver's restaurant is on private property, Ga laws (like Code Title 40. Motor Vehicles and Traffic § 40-6-226) do not apply to them.

On 5/20 between 10:30 a and 11:30 am I got a meal at this establishment (which I would say, is very good.). Because I am handicap, I parked in the Handicap parking space. I had my handicap placard on display in the windshield, and had a Handicap icon on the rear of my car so that anyone behind me would know I am a handicap driver.

When I began to pull out of my handicap space, I found a customer car had just parked in front of the restaurant door - in the left lane, but still blocking me in my space. I have a rear camera on my car and made a good fair effort to pull out twice without the car having to move, but I was unable to safety do so.

The driver of the car was in the car and clearly saw I was stuck, but did not take any action, like driving his car forward by just a few feet so I could leave (I latter found out said driver was waiting for his meal to be hand delivered to him by a Culver's employee.

I gave a quick honked on my horn, then a longer honk, and then a third even longer one - and when that failed to motivate said driver to just move a few feet so I could leave, I just sat on my horn until he moved (more than 2 minutes).

Afterwards the driver of the offending car rolled down his window and yelled out I was a "dumass"; a women, with two children, that were walking to the entrance of Culver's yelled back asking the yelling of swear words to stop.

As all this was going on, a Culver employee was delivering food to the line of cars parked (not in any parking spaces or a designated pick up zone, but in the left lane of the street to exit the parking lot, blocking other parking spaces). Even after said mother expressed concern over the violent exchange in front of her children, the employee took no action.

I rolled down my window and told said employee that Culver's staff and management was knowingly instructing drivers to park illegally. Culver employee rudely advised me that because this was private property, laws do not apply to Culver's staff. I pointed out that Culver had painted / postered arrows themselves on the private property street, so they were also not following their own posted policy and procedures.

The Culver's employee's response was to rudely order me to leave Culver's property, if I was not going to buy another meal. When I left, the car blocking the handicap space move back to his original position blocking access to the Handicap parking space I had vacated, all under said Culver's employee...

First time at a Culver's and I had a very positive experience.

Ordered a bacon deluxe butter burger (I may be mistaken with the name), fries, onion rings, kids meals and a sundae.

Pros +this place is brand new and very clean. Didn't get a chance to use the restroom but the dining area is super clean +the food was very good and the presentation was as well the service was far above what I expected and I'm comfortable saying I think it is Chick-fil-A level service. All the staff was friendly, smiling, and knowledgeable about the menu. The team leader was making her rounds and checking on folks without overly hovering around you. the menu is varied the onion rings were really onion rings +decor is simple and neat. Not distracting ample seating and space to navigate around during the busy lunch hour the kids meal was a good portion and we liked the options.

Neutral *the sundae didn't hit how I hoped. It was good but when I think of a custard, the standard I hold is cheeseburger Bobby's custard is the best. I plan to try the ice cream and other desserts to get a better feel so this will probably change my opinion. *the fries were fine. Fresh and crispy. They're crinkle fries which I'm not the biggest fan of. It would be great if there were a choice of some special dipping sauces or seasoned salts to give them more flavor.

Cons -we actually don't have anything negative to say about this place. Entire experience was positive

I definitely recommend trying Culver's. Thinner burgers like steak and shake or Freddy's but they're different enough to stand apart. Also there's plenty of non beef options if you're not in the mood for a burger.

I will definitely...

On December 15, 2004, at approximately 8:00 PM, my son and I visited the Culver's restaurant located in Sugar Hill. We had received two separate "Buy One Get One Free" coupons via email directly from the Culver's corporate office. My son successfully used his coupon to order a regular value meal. However, when I attempted to use my coupon for the order, the counter attendant (an Asian woman whom I believe is the manager) refused to accept it. She stated that only one coupon could be used per family. I explained that each coupon clearly stated, "Limit one coupon per person per visit" and that we were each using a separate coupon as intended. The manager responded that their location had a different policy and that franchise policies can vary. She then stated, "I don't want to argue with you. Come back tomorrow or go somewhere else to use the coupon," in a dismissive and unprofessional manner. This situation could have been handled more effectively and courteously. Furthermore, upon arriving home, I discovered that our order was missing ketchup and napkins. Sending a "Buy One Get One Free" coupon via email is illogical if customers are unable to redeem it.
