It used to be good. I guess no more. Very few customers on a Saturday nigh should have been a clue. We got calf fries that were inedible. Returned them and weren’t charged. The catfish and shrimp were way over cooked with what appeared old oil. They weren’t fit for human consumption. Even the fries were over cooked. We took our food home to feed the barn cats. Told our waitress. Her response, “Several people have complained and have sent their food back, it was either overcooked or under cooked.” Even the loaf bread was stale. The iced tea was rank. You’d think they’d be embarrassed to even serve food like that. They’ll be closed down within a month if they keep it up. I went with friends that had been going there for decades who said they’d never go back.

This old fashioned restaurant offered an amazing homemade quality to simple food, elevating it to something divine. The tartar sauce was perfect and provided the best flavor I have ever had the privilege of tasting. The service made us feel like one of the family. I suggest you take some time and realize the treat you are getting when in this locale.

A popular place on a Friday night. Small menu without a single vegetable, but that's why you go. Country food - fried catfish, chicken fingers, steak fingers, corn dogs... the only sides are fries and onion rings but you get Cole slaw, hush puppies, and bread. Don't like it deep fried? Then don't go. You go for the fried food. Right over the border.

First time here and it wasn't what I expected. The food was so greasy it dripped from the food. I had catfish and it tasted just like mudcat husband had steak finger so much better you couldn't even find the steak and the french fries came frozen out of the bag. For the price you would think you would get real fried potatoes and maybe a small salad. With meal just onion slice and dill hamburger slice pickles and a slice of white bread. Plus the menu you is very limited so if you don't want fried everything your out of luck. They do not have shrimp, oysters or anything like that only catfish and that wasn't good. This had been on my bucket list for a long time and now I can mark that off and not make that mistake again. All I can say is very very...

The place smells so filthy/sour ( I have been here 1 other time like 4 years ago and it smelled the same then and I remember now that when I left then I said I would be ok never eating there again, but did). The table cloths just looked like years worth of filth have saturated into them. Fries were undercooked, wasn't a fan of the tartar sauce. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the waitress was prompt and nice and the corn dog my daughter ordered was decent enough to eat.

Edited to add, whoever they purchase from doesn't remove the red part of the fish. Some filets decent, others disgusting. No hushpuppies offered with meal, wth? I just don't understand their overall rating of 4+ stars. Someone please...
