I have heard a lot of good things about La Pachanga but had never been. We stopped by after a basketball game recently. I was impressed by how nice the restaurant is. It is not your typical Mexican restaurant. Dining room and restrooms are nice and clean. Outdoor seating looks nice but was too cold when we were there. I had asked for my vegetable fajita be cooked on a clean grill away from meat or in a clean pan. They seemed to do that as I didn't see or taste any meat (yay!). Fajitas and chips/salsa were excellent. My wife had a vegetable chimichanga (pictured) and it looked unique and delicious. I'll definitely be back. My favorite Mexican restaurant, located in Vincennes, served me a vegetable fajita with beef in it this weekend. If La Pachanga can keep meat out of my food I will come back again and again!

Not a bad Mexican place. Honestly nothing too special about it but it wasn't bad. Service was good The beer was cold and the chips and salsa while nothing spectacular were good. the burrito I got seemed a little dry on the inside but flavor was good and there was a lot of it. We sat outside which was really nice and didn't have many other people out there. Not sure why.

Very delicious! I got to wear a Sombrero and for once in my life, I wasn't all that embarrassed 😳 when they sang to me. Really loved the dessert they gave me. I thought it was Fried Ice Cream. Maybe it was or maybe it wasn't bt it was very dee-lish!!!! Thanks for making my Birthday that more special!!!

Honestly I found that in Indiana everybody throws white cheese sauce on top of everything you really have to tell them not to do that if you don't want that I mean even if you order a bean and cheese burrito they're not going to make it like they do in California where they just put beans and they just put shredded cheese inside and wrap it up or maybe Grill it on the outside if you ask that they leave it open on both ends on a dish and then pour white cheese sauce over here so that's not exactly what I asked for and the guys don't speak English in there very well there's only one guy that did he may be the manager of the owner I don't know but the chips and the salsa very tasty I'm sure and the beans themselves were okay I mean their quality of food taste good but they need to ease up on the white cheese sauce in Indiana that's not like any Mexican food I've ever had being in California we're used to either having things with guacamole or with a red sauce in fact I've never had anybody put cheese sauce on anything unless you went to Taco Bell that's what that kind of reminded me of yuck I don't like the cheese sauce I would have had a red sauce on an enchilada but if I had ordered an enchilada there I would have had to tell them no don't do cheese sauce only red sauce so yeah it's like that the prices are reasonable They Don't Really check on you and see if you need anything else they don't have desserts there so there's no flan there is no Jamaica or horchata for drinks there's no any kind of desserts that I saw at all listed so it's lacking in desserts this isn't the first place Mexican restaurant I've been to in Indiana where they don't have Mexican drinks they don't have desserts they do serve cocktails so they have a full bar my service dog was with me and they didn't give me a hard time about that which they better not because it's illegal but they were very nice and very busy so a lot of people like the food there I didn't get a chance to try anything else as I didn't have that much money on me I would have liked to have tried there chile relleno to see what that was like and maybe a carne asada burrito to see what that was like but I'd have to tell them again just put the meat maybe guacamole in there nothing else and no cheese sauce and wrap up the end so I can hold it in my hand wrapped in paper so I don't know maybe I need to find a Taco Stand but even in restaurants in California if you ask for a burrito they're going to give it to you like that wrapped up I just don't understand what's going on in Indiana the people don't speak English but they don't seem to make Mexican food like what I'm used to living close to the border so...

My husband and I were very impressed with this restaurant. Excellent service. Surprisingly inexpensive. The tortilla chips were actually warm, fresh and whole chips, not broken little pieces. I didn't much care for the salsa as it tasted heavy on cumin and didn't have cilantro in it. We received our food quickly and it was huge portions. Large portions of guacamole and pico de gallo served with our meals. Very good Tex-Mex food. We are from Indianapolis, just visiting Sullivan Lake for the weekend. The Mexican restaurants in Indy are much more expensive, their portions smaller and they give you tiny portions of sour cream, guacamole and pico de gallo. We will be eating there again on our future trips...
