At 2:01, January 4th, 2025, I used a coupon for a free large drink with the purchase of a Fried Zucchini Famous Star Burger. I was the only vehicle in the Drive-Thru. The Carl’s Jr. employee, Faith, instructed me to drive forward to the trash can and wait. A couple minutes later a white sedan also drove up to the window, obviously ordered, then pulled into a parking space to wait for their order. Then a maroon SUV drove to the window, apparently got their order immediately and left. At 2:12 Faith came out with a Carl’s Jr. bag in her hand. I rolled down my car window. She said, “I’ll get to you in a minute,” and took the bag of food to the white sedan. When she finally brought me my food, at 2:16, I asked who’s the Manager. She said her manager’s name is Frances, and Frances was there. I thought, Why complain to the Manager if the Manager is there and aware that one customer waits over fifteen minutes for his order while two other customers who ordered after him received their orders first, the Manager may be part of the problem. I could understand if they had a full house and a long line of drive-thru customers, but between 2:00 and 2:20 this afternoon I counted 4 customers (including me)! It wasn’t until I pointed out to Faith—after she had delivered to the white sedan who’d ordered a few minutes after me—that I’d been waiting over ten minutes, that she apologized for the inconvenience, with no explanation. I finally got my to-go food I had ordered at 2:01 and pulled out of Carl’s Jr. at 2:22–21 minutes after I ordered it…and when I got home (15 miles) I discovered that they got my order wrong! I guess I should thank the people in the white sedan for the French fries… If you don’t mind waiting over 15 minutes for a “fast-food” sandwich, Carl’s Jr. No.1102662 at 1201 South Hillcrest in Sulphur Springs, Texas is your kind of place! Otherwise, any other eatery would be much, much faster and...
Read moreme and my dad were making a quick stop and decided to get carl’s jr. my dad is a truck driver and i’m his son who is just a ride-along. we go inside, i order a chicken tender meal and my dad (who is vegetarian) gets the diablo loaded fries. We get our order and go back to our truck and i get my chicken tenders, my drink, and my dads loaded fries. I don’t see the fries that are supposed to come with the chicken tender meal. So, i check the receipt and see that i did get a meal and it charged me for a meal and the loaded fries were not a sub for my fries. After this, i go inside and tell the kind cashier that I didn’t receive my fries that came with my combo. I also ordered another loaded fries bc my dad wanted some. i wait around and i get only the loaded fries. So i go back and ask for my fries. The cashier was very kind and was trying to give me the fries i payed for. as soon as she gets my fries, she gets stopped by another person who was calling out orders and assembling them. The person that stopped her and another worker started arguing with the cashier on why she’s giving me another cup of fries and proceeds to call me a lier and that she gave me fries in my order. i just get the loaded fries and called my dad. we end up leaving and i still don’t have fries. My dad works his butt off btw. it’s not easy driving a truck for days to weeks at times. i’m eating my tenders and they aren’t good either. my dads also complaining that the loaded fries were packed without care and were spilled all on the bag that we received them in and i didn’t do that either. my tenders’ skin is literally coming off. it isn’t hard to remember to give the fries and refuse to give them at...
Read moreToday, I entered at 4:30am to purchase my normal mix and match breakfast deal as I’m somewhat of a Carl’s Jr. regular. The tall slender young lady working the front was stirring ice tea. She did greet me but seemed clueless about priority customer service because she made me wait to take my order until she was almost done. She radioed over her headset to the cook to have the cook take my order, but apparently, she also hasn’t wrapped her mind around quality service principle in practice. The first employee asked me what I would like to order while stirring tea. I shared my desired items only to receive assurances that what I ordered wasn’t available as a mix and match purchase. I mentioned it was a regular order for me the past six months and I didn’t suspect a product/price change in the middle of the week. She finally checked the register to discover I had been correct and took my order. After my sandwiches were set under the warmers I was forced to wait some time for the employee to finish mopping and returning janitorial supplies to their place; and without washing her hands, she placed my food in a carry out sack and handed them to me with a devious grin on her face. I said nothing, I tossed my food in the trash and made my way back to my truck. I mention this visit because I refuse to let two employees actions ruin my perception of an otherwise terrific establishment. The two employees were millennials so the density of these two is expected (from my experience). Let’s get this kind of thing rectified...
