Only way this place gets a two star is because the food wasn't the worst I've ever tasted but I'd have a hard time remembering when I've had worse service. We decided to give this place a try because my wife had been wanting to come here for awhile. We were seated without any wait time after the greeter literally jumped up and down several times trying to see what tables were clean and available despite having a tablet on the desk that was supposed to show that information. Our waiter came around fairly quickly and took our drink order and we ordered an appetizer of chips and salsa. He brought our drinks and we ordered our food and then he must have crossed into another dimension where we didn't exist because even though he wandered around the other side of the restaurant I couldn't get his attention to ask to change my wife's drink out for something different even with multiple attempts. After we had been there over 20 minutes some other random woman walked by our table and stopped and asked us if we had gotten any bread to which we replied no and that we also haven't been able to speak to our waiter again to swap drinks and she said she'd take care of it and then she promptly also crossed into the dimension where we didn't exist because we never seen her again. After almost 30 min our waiter showed back up to inform us that they were out of chips so we'd have to order another appetizer if we wanted one. So we did and also asked for the drink change for my wife and she also ordered an alcoholic beverage as well. After a few more minutes he returned with her new drink but not the alcoholic one and I guess it was lost in space between the two dimensions because it never showed up. After a few more minutes the new appetizer showed up with a salad that neither of us ordered but he was gone again before we could question it. After almost 45 minutes our food arrived by a different person and we asked him about bread which he then promptly brought ( have I mentioned there were less than 20 people besides us in the whole restaurant the whole time so they were far far from busy ) my steak was slightly under cooked and the seasoning on it just over powered the flavor of the steak but it was tender, the fries were pretty bland with very little if any seasoning. My wife said her noodles tasted like they had been warmed up in a microwave as well as the shrimp wasn't seasoned good either and she wasn't able to finish her meal. We decided to try a dessert to maybe make the experience a little bit better so we ordered the s-more and when it arrived the chocolate was literally boiling but upon starting to eat it we discovered the brownie was ice cold in the middle. Our drinks were never refilled and we heard more than one person around us complaining to their party about how the service was terrible and how different things they had ordered were done wrong or they were told it wasn't available. All in all it wasn't a pleasant experience, the appetizer was way over priced compared to the amount of food it came with , and even though the restaurant gave off a high class atmosphere the service and food didn't even come close and I have no plans of ever returning and I wouldn't recommend this...
Read moreIf you look at the menu then you can tell right away they are expensive. Three out of four in my group wasn't hungry. We had gone to several other places and tried out their stuff. The person who was hungry...it was their birthday trip, so we agreed to go into this place for her. We stood around being ignored for awhile. Eventually, someone came up to us and seated us at a table and then left. We waited awhile (they were mostly empty and not busy). Eventually a waitress showed up and said she was sorry for the wait. She had just arrived. I guess we came right before shift change or something. She wanted to just take our drink order, but I was nervous because of the long wait and we already knew what we were getting. We ordered a burger and fries for the person who was hungry and an appetizer (chips and queso and salsa) for the rest of us to share and two waters and two sodas/pops. They brought us a basket of cold bread rolls and their butter. It looked like the butter had brown sugar or cinnamon in it. We didn't try it because their bread was cold. Not like it had cooled down cold. Like they just serve it cold. 🤷 The hungry person tried the bread and said it wasn't good. They brought us our drinks at the same time as the bread. Our cups went empty and we waited and waited and didn't see any sign of our waitress. The restaurant was still mostly empty. She refilled our drinks when she brought out the appetizer. I thought the queso was good. It was white queso with meat and stuff in it. I thought the chips were good. The rest of the table didn't agree on either of those assessments. We all agreed the salsa was thin and watery. Our cups went dry again and again we didn't see our waitress. The hungry one said she thought she saw her come out of a door but then she went right back in before we could ask for refills. They served the burger and fries on a pan. The burger was very thin. The hungry one was okay with it. The waitress took off too fast and we didn't get to ask for refills. The burger took over forty five minutes to come out and my group was ready to move on to other locations. As soon as I saw the waitress again I asked for the ticket and paid and we left. We were pretty disappointed in our experience and happy we weren't really hungry. I would suggest going to the Bedre Cafe downstairs instead. It's not going to give you the fancier decor and prices, but their service is waay better and their staff is waay friendlier and efficient. Also don't forget to walk down the rest of that street and visit the other shops. They are full of friendly and helpful people. It's not an experience you should miss out on. There is an art gallery across the street specialising in local Native American artists. Go there. You...
Read moreStaff was attentive although overwhelmed and it didn’t seem that busy. We heard a few of the servers complain as our table was close to where they were all coming in and out of. Our server was the most professional out of all of them we saw or heard. We had high expectations looking over the menu and reading some reviews. We started with the seared Ahi tuna. Presentation was nice. The tuna had a fishy flavor and was somewhat chewy. Normally seared tuna is from the freshest pieces the restaurants have so you don’t get that taste and it melts in your mouth. It was also strange they used a whole tuna steak for this. Normally it’s a square cut with all 4 sides seared then sliced 1/4 thick. Wife ordered the smothered chicken which was slightly over cooked but the best protein of the night we had. Her garlic mash however had no garlic flavor and the asparagus had very little seasoning. I ordered the $50 Ribeye which is their best steak with pasta salad and risotto. The pasta salad and the risotto both had great flavor and I would recommend both because those were the best sides we had. The steak however was a total disappointment. It is not a high quality steak. In fact I would rate it below a chain restaurant steak. It’s 3/4 inch thick. I ordered medium rare more on the rare side. The middle was medium rare maybe. Everything outside that 2 inch circle was medium to well. When I say this steak had no flavor I mean zero. They didn’t even salt it. It wasn’t overly tough but it was chewy. Overall I gave it 3 stars. I saw a few things on the menu when I pass thru I may stop and try at lunch but overall I wouldn’t bring anyone here for a quality...
