Torres Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Summerville

The food is good. BUT.. they will cut corners on sizes and quality every chance they can. The James or Jamie guy they was the manager is a rude and lazy. Horribly ran. I paid 6 dollars for a 2 oz remikn of cheese dip. In comparison that's about the size of golf ball in all dimensions. They put my dip in a folding box and it leaked all over everything. They will leave out whatever they can get buy with and God forbid anyone else in your family want chips andsalsa. You'll get one each for the entire 40 dollar order. Mind you this using delivery. I couldn't imagine the owner doing this face to face and expecting money. Also this isn't just one time. I have ordered it 11 times through doordash in 3 months. Doordash after seeing pictures of the rotten lettuce and ever changing sizes for astronomical prices and plastic bags full of food from cutting corners on containers has refunded me 9 of 11 times and now have refused to issue a refund ever again siting the obvious.. don't order from them! I am easy going and never ever leave bad reviews.. but I couldn't let this anymore....

Really doesn’t deserve a star but I had no other choice, because it was the only way to make a review. My nieces age 17 and 16 went to eat here today and they where sat down at a table and from there they was never acknowledged or even asked there drinks but a white family was sat 30 mins afterwards and received full acknowledgment from the server and their drinks. I guess black youth aren’t allowed here or if it’s not a place for black people just say that because my nieces sat there for 45 mins before walking out and that’s sad.. the server even stared at them and kept walking by there table but assisting everyone else!!! I called numerous of times and they don’t answer the phone so... if you are hungry and don’t want to get overlooked because of your color...

A lot of little mexican restaurants pop up at this location and they're usually never any good, and Tortaco is no exception. This restaurant has not figured out how to package their to go orders. The street corn was in a styrofoam cup outside the bag with a lid on top that was too big. The watery refried beans were put in a stryofoam container that one would typically use for salad and the beans were leaking out all into the bag. The watery salsa was put in a styrofoam container that was cracked down the side so it too was also leaking into the bag. I ordered the loco rice and it didn't come with a single drop of cheese on it. Chips were hard and cold. Don't waste your time with this place. They'll be closing down real quick just like...
