Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Summit Township

We ordered a pepperoni pizza and cheesey bread. They were both good, had fair amount of toppings and cheese. The sauce has nice flavor, not too sweet and the crust is a good consistency with some seasoning. My only complaint is we tried to use a coupon that came in the mail and it wouldn't work so we paid full price. We put the code in online and also asked to use it over the phone with no success. It was mailed recently, expiration date of 05/01/2025. The guy who answered the phone and helped me when I picked up the food was nice and apologized. He said it may be an online only coupon. Regardless it didn't work online when we tried. Hoping management sees this and will address it internally. The money that was spent on marketing and advertising is a waste if the codes don't work and will likely have a negative impact...

I tried Marco's because I got sick of ordering pizza with a surprise hair at another pizza joint.

I must say that I am glad I did. You see, most large chains lack a certain quality when it comes to pizza. The quality I am referring to is the one you usually get from mom and pop pizza joints. The great quality pizza from your childhood. I found a place up in Rose City and Beulah/Frankfort Michigan, but none here in Jackson.

Well, until now, that is. Marco's hit the mark! Their Hawaiian (all I order) is excellent. Oh, the bubbles the pizza crust gets is a sweet bonus. Easy to order and great deals on their website, too. Unfortunately, I find myself ordering pizza from Marco's much too often. That is one major drawback of finding a place I like a lot.

A large takeout order was placed for a child's birthday party. The original order was for 3:30 pick up. After determining it would be better to pick up a little after 4:00, Marcos was called with the last-minute change of plans. Apologizing when I arrived for pick up around 4:00, the young man behind the counter (seemingly working alone) was pleasant and accommodating. I expected some pushback due to the change - there was none. He made all 10 pizzas and orders of garlic bread himself with help from a delivery driver and it was all ready at the original 3:30 pick up time. He kept it all hot and the food was well received at the party - no complaints from kids or parents. Great service and...
