We decided to give this a try on a last-minute whim. It said reservations required, but when we called he said we were ok since it was just 2 of us. The food was VERY tasty! Service was good. It wasn’t super busy, so don’t be put off by the ‘reservations only’. Call them. Some things I’d recommend-add some low carb sides (side salad, green beans, asparagus, broccoli, etc); offer a ‘cup’ option on soups. Most people would order that to go with an entree, whereas they won’t necessarily want a full bowl of gumbo/soup. A ‘flight’ of the soups would also be good. Just my thoughts. We definitely plan to return to try some other things!

My family was visiting from out of state, arrived at rest at 4pm. Placed orders, crabcakes. That was the beginning of the most awful experience I have had at a rest with prices this expensive. The crabcakes were awful, no flavor except salt. Undercooked, raw in middle and color was a burnt black. One taste and we were ready to vacate the premises. However, we decided to try entrees, gumbo, corn crab soup and Blake chicken. When I tell you this was trash food that is mildly stated. Gumbo was salty, salty out of a bag. Not prepared on site.. soup was salty with no fresh crab meat, out of bag.chicken was so tough, not edible as we asked for no salt. So it was not blackened. Macaroni cheese out of a bag. Not freshly made.

This place was laughable with 50. 00 price tags no food is made on premises. The owners attitude went from fake friendly to anger and totally ignored us the remainder of our dinner because we sent this awful, salty food back to kitchen and refused to order again.

The night was saved as we found a rest in summit a few miles away that was absolutely amazing, great decor, good food, great ambiance and reasonable prices. The decor and ambiance here sucks also. Stay home, it is not worth visiting unless you want a beer. They are overpriced as well. Very disappointed...

The food was amazing, we both had a ribeye and dirty rice, I had macaroni (amazingly creamy) and he had twice baked potatoes. They were perfect. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip. It was so good. The owner brought us our drinks when the glasses was empty. I would definitely...
