Rivers — Restaurant in Sunnyside

Originally loved going here to play pool and just have a couple drinks with a group of ladies. We always felt safe there as a group. However, last couple times we went there to shoot pool, there's been a tense atmosphere and also a couple fights. I noted one patron with a pistol in his jeans trying to hide it with a shirt over it until he bent over and I saw it. I mean I carry too, but I leave it in the car while shooting pool because I never felt it necessary to have it in Rivers. Hesitant to go back now. I don't want to get caught in cross fire. My husband and I went to Rivers last night and we had a great time. It's not Rascals in Lake Park or like the bars you'll find in Valdosta, but for Waycross it was a pretty decent bar. Great atmosphere love playing pool and listening to Marty's Music with the cigarette smoke is enough to kill you if you don't even smoke cigarettes like myself.
