Weekenders Grill and Market — Restaurant in Sunrise Beach

Note, this is NOT a traditional "restaurant." This is a fast food style restaurant located in a grocery store with a gas station combo. So don't come for the atmosphere, unless you're into that. They do have a small section of seating, but most of the interaction is via kiosk to order your food. That being said, I think it was a good value for money. They had an extensive value menu and many flexible options for food. The staff were friendly and helpful. We took three of our four kids and the environment was not very conducive for younger kids. But the food was substantial for the price. We found the food to be better than many fast food chains. A large grilled cheese with Texas toast was only $2. Mozzarella sticks we're much larger than your average. This is a good grab and go, with ULTIMATE flexibility on any food item. You dream it, they'll do it if they can. We were in town for the weekend working and needed a quick bite before the hectic day ahead. Popped down the road to weekenders and grabbed a sandwich from their grab and go and it was just what we needed. We swung in on a Sunday when the grill was closed knowing that they would still have some grab and gos before we hit the road. They were out of the chicken sandwich that I love. I got the regular sized Spicy Cheese Curds, which I don’t know why I can’t find more places that do them because they are good, and the double dog. It was $7.07 with tax. The Spicy Cheese Curds are THE BOMB. The double dog (which is just a deal for 2 hotdogs) are pretty standard. I didn’t get any condiments on them because I wanted to see how the dogs come out and they were good. Pretty normal hot dogs. Price is reasonable for what you get. The staff are super nice.
