A total embarrassment My family was in from another state and we were taking them out for a nice comfortable, quiet dinner. I called ahead (about 2:30) to make a reservation and requested to be in front of the fireplace. Yes, I was unaware of them having two fire places, let alone and another room in the bar area. When we got there, they were not totally busy but had a few tables in the main dining area. They started to take us into the bar area and I was surprised and I told the person seating us that I had requested one of the table in front of the fireplace as I was speaking I looked in the dining room and there was an open table there. The person seating us said well we have two. MY mistake, sorry I didn’t know. Shoot as I said I didn’t even know about the room in the bar area. We got to our table and yes it was somewhat in front of the fireplace and I was okay with that. When we were put in this room it was quiet and not too bad BUT come to find out they divided their party room. They had us on the side with five tables then the party room started to fill in. IT was SO loud that I was not able to hear my husband sitting right next to me. The waitress was practically yelling the specials to the table behind us so they could hear. So much for a nice quiet dinner with my parents. Moving on to the service: We were met by our server. She was very outspoken. I thought this was going to be okay because my dad is much the same way. The more she was around the more she was pushy and a little over the top in with being out spoken. IT came off as rude. The rudeness started when we ordered a bottle of wine. We asked for a bottle of white zinfandel, she was a little snotty and said “There’s only one of those on the list” OH, boy here we go, when our salads arrived I had asked for more bread to have with our salad and her reply was “Pace yourselves, we have large portions and you’re going to fill up on bread.” One, if the customer would like some more bread I think that they should have some. Two, she never brought bread we finally had to ask a busboy to get us more bread nor did she say anything about it. Oh wait, let’s talk about the salads, they were so pitifully small if was another embarrassment. There wasn’t even enough lettuce on the plate that you could cut up, then there was a small sliver of a tomatoes with three small pieces of onion. Oh wait, don’t forget about the three pieces of cheese to top off the salad. WOW some large portions! As were waiting about 10 to 15 minutes for our dinners the party was picking up, if my Dad was saying something I sure couldn’t hear him. Finally, dinner, thanks goodness my Mom and Dad’s were okay. Mine was missing a side dish of white pasta, I got the servers attention and let her know that it was missing, her reply was “it is cooking, everything is cooked to order” ….. Hmmm well they cooked my steak but they didn’t have time to cook pasta and put sauce over it… RIGHT not thinking so. It was just forgotten. Had to wait on the pasta which by the time I got it, I was half done eating. My husband got his normal Cannelloni, it was totally dry on the top all. There was some sauce on the side of the dish but nothing like we have had before. Not a very appealing dish to be placed on a table for someone to eat. So, in conclusion: We ended up paying $27.00 dollars for a $7.00-dollar bottle of Beringer Vineyards White Zinfandel and $154 + tip for our dinner of four in a room that was divided with a party. So, as you would gather I would not...
Read moreMy husband and I were rather excited for Italian food at Trattoria as it has such incredible reviews across platforms, but what we got was poor service, zero attention, and the food was subpar. We ordered for two main course dishes along with an appetizer and the appetizer was never brought to us and there was no apology for the same either. The service was curt and cold and not at all friendly. We wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and we don't think we'd give this place a second chance because despite calling for the most basic dishes such as Chicken Parmigiano and Shrimp Scampi the food was below average with zero flavoring and not worth the price at all.
The chicken was boiled instead of grilled or pan seared with no flavor whatsoever and the shrimp scampi had four buttery shrimp in total that were crisp whereas the pasta had no flavor not even salt. It was rather disappointing and we came back home rather let down because we were pretty keen on having their dessert, but given how pitiful the food was we dropped the idea. Besides, when I asked for seasoning Jimmy our server looked rather snide and uninterested.
Jimmy was our server for the night and he came across as someone friendly, but as the night progressed there was a certain curtness that we didn't appreciate. He didn't seem to care for our preferences and was rather cold when serving us our food. We expected more from the place since it was rather empty at the time we went to dine and Jimmy simply didn't care.
The host is incredibly friendly; however, the waiting staff and our server particularly wasn’t anywhere close to genial making our whole experience poor and leaving a sour taste. This is the first Italian restaurant that has been this unsatisfactory and we don’t wish this...

On the above date we held our rehearsal dinner here. Party of 9 including our priest. THE WORST!!! After sitting for 10 minutes had to go to the bar to have them come take drink orders. 20 min later had to ask them to take appetizer orders. After almost 1 hour, had to ask where appetizers were and were told the order was never placed with kitchen!!! 🤬 Took 20 more minutes to be served them. At time of questioning about appetizers, we finally got main dish orders taken (and FINALLY bread and butter) and the meals arrived about one hour after. Two meals were virtually inedible. The shrimp scampi dinner tasted “gamey,” terrible flavor. The priest’s steak was 85% gristle. He said he was able to eat two bites. My mistake was paying the bill in full with a 20% tip so as not to upset my party, most importantly my bride to be. She ordered the shrimp scampi! I took the low profile means of complaining by contacting them through their website. Supposedly the message went to “Alban,” but I never received a reply after listing the above and my name, email and cell phone that is on 24/7/365. I requested a “significant refund or gift card,” but again, never heard from them. Guess that's to be expected. Hopefully they and you will learn from this review. Don’t go! Puzzling thing is it was a Wednesday night and not...
