Do not go here, we have came numerous times now, and every time. We ordered 3 eggs, home fries toast and bacon, 2 eggs home fries toast & 3 pieces of French toast, all we were able to eat was the rye toast and hardly the eggs, and our coffee... the home fries were burnt and hard, the French toast was freezing cold, the eggs were cold, the bacon was burnt and there was no flavor at all. And instead of taking care of us, we were told sorry, and got our bill for $17... $17 for 2 coffees, maybe an egg eaten altogether and rye toast. We waited over an hour for our food to even come out. Edit- literally nothing was edible so what the owner said about how it was taken off, we did not eat anything but the toast, so $17 for 2 coffees and 4 pieces of toast still isn't acceptable... but I just figured I'd clear that up for anyone thinking what we couldn't eat was taken off because it wasn't.

The people running the restaurant that day were very friendly to us. The food was good. I recommend the Rueben Sandwich with mustard instead if the sauce. I’m from south Louisiana, so to me, some of the dishes lacked flavor, but with a little seasoning, the hamburger soup would be 5-star. (Add some salt, pepper, onion/garlic powders, beef flavored Better Than Bullion, and Umami seasoning from Trader Joe’s, and that soup would put you on the map!) You can request to sit by the wall of windows to get a view of the mountain stream that runs under the restaurant.

We found a diamond in the rough! When we stepped in the door it was like stepping back in time. The food was delicious (like Mom used to make), the portions were big, the prices were great, the waitress was very pleasant and helpful! Where we sat, we had a lovely view of the creek that runs next to the place. We enjoyed our experience here!!

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Don’t eat here unless you want a side of hair with your meal. My girlfriend and I eat there almost every Sunday for breakfast. We went down there and I had a piece of hair in my home fries (no big deal, I sent it back and the cook remade my meal) meanwhile my girlfriend is eating and there is hair in her omelette and in her home fries as well as all over both of our plates. The server told us we were good to go without paying for our food because there was hair ALL in it. I went to go in today and the owner BANNED me because I didn’t pay for my food and then preceded to say that there was nothing I can do about it because he owns the place....
