I hate writing bad reviews, but here we are.
This is the second time I've tried this location. The first time was last year- (on a Sunday since we prefer the Bethelview/Castleberry location but they're closed on Sundays). This location gave me the completely wrong flavor sauce I order my wings with. I had called and the manager apologized and said they could refund but would comp my next order- annoying but fine. I never redeemed that because as I said we normally go to the other location and a lot of time went by so I figured they wouldn't remember owing me a free meal. We try it again today- a Sunday. We just got home late last night from out of the country and were hoping to having some comfort food- as long time GA residents we missed chicken wings. We always order our wings extra crispy wherever we go. Upon opening our boxes these were clearly not prepared extra crispy. They squished when we pressed them. They were barely sauced and a lot of them were smaller than my finger. The fries are not up to standard. I can't even explain it but when you're used to one location doing everything perfectly this was just not it. I called explaining the situation and he asked if I would like them to be remade or given a refund. I told him we were exhausted from traveling so to please administer a refund. He said ok, he'll send me a picture of the receipt of refund. Great. We legit throw 20 wings and a pack of fries in the trash and go out to get some drive through closer to home. Then HE TEXTS ME. Says the boss wants them to be brought in before giving a refund. I was like???? You just offered to do the refund. I called and asked to talk to the boss and he said he wasn't there :-/ that "he just left". And that if I wanted to bring the food in tomorrow and talk to him I could that. JOKES. I work all week and the location is out of my way. So here it is, a one star review and waiting for the charge to pend so I can dispute it This might not be a big deal to most but $40 is $40 in this economy.

My wife and I just got back from out of the country and wanted to eat some good quality wings from our favorite place. Unfortunately our usual WnB location is the one off Castleberry rd and is closed on Sundays.
We already had a poor experience at this store (Mathis AP rd) a few months ago but decided to give it another shot.
We ordered : -10pk (split lemon pepper dry/honey garlic) -10pk (split hot honey/honey garlic) -side of fries -side of rice
When we got home the wings looked pale and not seasoned at all. No dry rub what so ever and the fries looked like they were partially frozen still. We have been ordering wnb for years and order it atleast once maybe twice per week so we know exactly how they should look and taste.
The bigger issue is when my wife called and requested to get the wings and fries reimbursed the counter guy agreed but later messaged saying the manager was asking if it was possible to return them.
We mentioned it was not as we threw them in the trash where it actually belonged. When my wife called back to speak to the Manager he said there was none on shift which is odd to me.
Customer service at this place is unfortunately lower than the food quality. This will be the last time we use...
Read moreI would like to express my disappointment regarding my first and last experience at your establishment. Unfortunately, the food was unseasoned and lacked quality, resulting in a bland and unsatisfactory meal. Additionally, I found the demeanor of the cashier to be unwelcoming, as she did not greet me upon my arrival and seemed reluctant to engage unless prompted.
Moreover, the wait time for a basic combo was excessively long, which further detracted from the overall experience. Given these factors, I find it difficult to understand the positive reviews associated with your establishment. I'm led to speculate that most if not all of your positive reviews may not reflect genuine customer experiences, but in fact are paid for in some way.
In light of these issues, I am concerned about the viability of the franchise under its current business model. I hope this feedback will be taken into consideration for future improvements. I wish you...
