My grandparents took me here for my birthday. The waitress was very nice, but not too attentive. Another waitress there, Gwen, helped my grandpa out with doing a birthday surprise. The chips and salsa were the best thing we ate. The food, not so great. My grandpa and I had the Cancun Burrito, and it tasted like the pineapple was rotten. I’ve never ate a burrito that made me gag while eating it. The burrito could have had so much potential, but the veggies, and pineapple tasted rotten. The chicken had no flavor. My mom had ordered a fajita with shrimp. She gave me the shrimp to eat, and it was way too over seasoned. The owner of the restaurant was the one who brought out our food, she didn’t bother to say hi, she stared at us expecting us to know what she had in her hands. She could have at least said hi, welcome, thank you. We also had 6 people in our party, and they sat us in the corner booth, and a very small table. There was no room for us to even have our dinner plates down. We left with upset stomach’s.

Unfortunately, I just don’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. Better off driving the extra 15min to Maumee or Holland, or even Wauseon for an edible...

After 2 years of building up, great renovations & Covid-19 delays, I convinced the hubs to go to the newly opened Old El Camino. This review does have some elements witnessed of disorganization by the greeters...but after we were seated everything went well. The food & margaritas made up for a loss of a star - so back to 5 stars. It's still new & will need to smooth the process out a little bit more. But, I look forward to returning for more. Salsa was average & a bit on the salty side, guacamole was ok, but would be awesome with a bit more pico de gallo added to it. The main course, oh my....was worth the wait. I had chicken & shrimp Pina Los Cobas was tasty & delicious. My hubs had Especial Camino Real fajitas and I tried it too, all was so delish. Huge portions. And the margaritas were tasty. But I am used to IN having larger beverages. For some reason OH serves margaritas in...

Place looks good, that’s the only thing I’ve been impressed with. I’ve been there twice, probably won’t got back, which stinks because I golf across the street year round. I’ve tried 6 different menu items ALL were bland. Cheese dip, homemade guac, bean dip all taste like they are out of a can. Even the tortilla chips are bad. Chicken nachos, chicken and steak fajitas all very bland. I read a review from someone earlier that said there was no spice, no flavoring in the food and that’s exactly how I feel. Margaritas were average at best.

Barron’s was a dumpy little place but I went there at least twice a week for 6 years. Margaritas were the best ever and the food was outstanding almost anything you got was delicious. Refritos, Cajun chicken nachos, fajitas, pork tacos, steak tacos, guac, queso, Mexican pizza, all were good. I...

The place looks great and the staff are pleasant. This is the only reason to even earn a star. The food is not good. The big California burrito is a let down. I got the steak, it was tough, overcooked and not seasoned. The white liquid filling was cold and like watery ranch/sour cream. The rest of the filling was cold. The salsa tasted like tomato paste. The spicy salsa had no flavor. I suppose if I had drank enough alcoholic beverages the food quality would improve. An unfortunate let down as the ambiance and staff were great.

This was our first time eating here! We walked in on a Friday night, and promptly shown to our table. We had street tacos, Chimichanga pacifica, and my daughter had chicken strips and fries. All the food was delightful, and hot. The chips and salsa were a great way to pass the short wait time while our food was being prepared. I would definitely eat here again. We had enough leftovers for a take home box too! Very clean establishment.
