I am leaving 1 star for 1 reason only. The manager Devin Menard. Watching him berate his staff in front of me, to the point of watching them shake while making my sandwich. I only waited about 20 seconds before being helped. One gentleman started my order the other was checking on bread in the oven. The manager came out of nowhere (from the store somewhere, not from the back of the subway or the bathroom). He then grabbed a metal pole and hit the bread with it and immediately started to berate the young man who was checking on it. Right in front of me, he then asked the young man to go to the back room. Bashing on him more. All the while I can hear everything. The only reason I will EVER return to this location is to support the AMAZING young men that helped me. Thank you SO MUCH Daniel and Jared. You both deserve SO much more than the manager you got. Constantly waiting, while employees walk through the service area and do nothing to help the 1 person making sandwiches / running register. I understand they have other responsibilities, but it is bad business and frankly rude to do nothing while your coworker struggles. It makes sense to me that they seem to have a lot of turnover as their employees are consistently frazzled and overworked.
