Zippy Pizza Inc — Restaurant in Swartz Creek

I was hesitant trying this place for the first time because of the reviews but I did want to try the Thursday special so I ordered by phone for pick up. First let me say that the pizza was very good. Quality ingredients and spicy pepperoni. Having it packed in a paper bag was unusual for me but box or bag..... does not matter. I look forward to ordering again and trying something new from a very extensive menu. Secondly, I do have to agree with many of the reviews saying that the service is anything but friendly. I wasn't treated rudely but not friendly. No thank "you come again." Just took my money and handed me my pizza. I generally use my credit card for EVERYTHING and refuse to pay more money for using it. Having said that I truly do understand that small business takes a big hit for credit card use. Knowing that this is a cash only place I will just plan accordingly. Lastly, I want to thank Zippy's for their community involvement. Still stand by my experience with Zippy Pizza. Absolutely love this place. My family eats here at least 2 times a week. I'm shocked by these snow flakes complaining about prices and yet you guys are the ones who demand $15+ an hour. How do you expect businesses to stay in business 🤔. These small mom and pop places were hit hard by the pandemic and rising pricing. GIVE THEM A BREAK & SUPPORT THEM instead of complaining.

While most do not realize, most all gas stations here in MI charge 2 different prices (1) cash price (2) cc price... If you choose to use your credit or debit card you pay more. This is becoming the practice of a lot of small businesses as well due to high cost of accepting you the customer who choose to use your cc to get those points for either travel or other incentives. I could care less if I'm charged a few cents more to get my pizza.

It’s sad. The food here is actually good, but the customer service is absolutely horrible. My family moved here a year ago, and we tried this place 3 times. All three times the food was good, but they messed up the order. When calling back in, they were extremely rude and have since lost our business. It’s sad really. We end up supporting non-local businesses. The best thing about most independent places is their ability to destroy commercial chains with their customer service and local small town feel. I really hope these guys get it together. Unfortunately I’ve asked around to our neighbors and they all say the same. They started strong but since have lost TONS of business because of their costumer service. Just be warned, if they take almost 2 hours to deliver your pizza after telling you 45 minutes, and they mess up your order and you call them, it’s probably your fault, that is, if their management even gets...
