Bourbon City — Restaurant in Swoyersville

Been here before and had some wonderful cocktails but last night we went for the steaks. These steaks are the best we've had . Cannot compare to anywhere. The service is so friendly, people in there so friendly we ended up staying for hours. Reasonable prices and our 12 oz NY strip special came done to perfection with the perfect seasonings, along with potato of choice, vegetable, and soup or salad. The salad dressing was delicious as well. And I almost forgot our fried pickle spear appetizer was the best fried pickles I've tried anywhere. You won't be disappointed. Owners are so friendly and want you to enjoy. Wish I lived right by there. I'd be there a few times a week. Great neighborhood bar with way above...

I was here for dinner/drink’s recently and had a and time finding parking, but when I finally did I was pleasantly surprised. The interior is updated and fresh looking with plenty of tvs around. We Actually watched a few episodes of Seinfeld while sitting at the bar! To drink I had the whiskey orange crush on the menu, and it was a good for the price. For dinner I had the wings with the Bourbon City sauce and they were great, perfectly cooked and the sauce was really good. I would describe it as a combo between hot mustard and barbecue sauce. Good food . . entertainment . . just when it gets busy takes long time to get a drink. . Had some food and service was good . . then got busy there and waitress was to busy to come and see if we needed drinks . . we waited 30 min so I went to bar to get drinks and was ignored. . Had to actually get the attention of the owner to get a drinks. .and still no drinks . . Owner needs to pay more attention to what is going on at his business . . prob won't be back anytime soon . . p.s I bartended and managed bars...
