Wall's Diner — Restaurant in Sylvania

Keep driving, not a good place to stop for food, unless you like filthy floors, ketchup smeared and dried on the walls, musty dirty carpets and flimsy folding tables to eat on. Food was greasy, starchy carbs, and overcooked vegetables and meat. Lot's of fried foods and rolls from the supermarket bags. It's popular with the older locals who seem oblivious to the dismal disgustingly filthy dining room conditions. The sign out front says BBQ with a pig, but that must be from long ago, none to be found here. A good place to get an upset stomach. People in this small town must be desperate...

We eat here often. The service line moves quickly, so don't let the line intimidate you 😀. Fried chicken "to die for" crispy, well seasoned. Porks chops tender and seasoned as well as the chicken. The pot roast with gravy delivers what you'd expect a country eatery should. Tender meat with creamy brown gravy. Portion sizes are appropriate. I ate there for the first time last week. Line was long, but moved at a good pace. Service and food was perfect. I decided on the spot to ask if they could provide a Christmas dinner for our company for 140 people. This was a short notice and Gary was a tremendous help with the menu and amounts needed.
