Leos Yum Yum — Restaurant in Tabernacle Township

I called in advance on 10/23 in regards to ordering an ice cream cake and was told by Toby that I had to come in to leave a deposit as they did cash only sales and that I had to order four or five days in advance for specialty flavors but that they kept bases of chocolate and vanilla frozen for more short order cakes. Having just moved into a new house I didn’t make it to Leo’s the following day as anticipated but showed up shortly after opening on the 10/25 to place my order and was told that I couldn’t customize flavors because it wasn’t enough notice, which was understandable as I wanted to pick up on 10/28. I accepted this and ordered the plain chocolate and vanilla and left sprinkles in my sons birthday colors. However after ordering and handing the cashier my deposit he told me it wasn’t necessary because it wasn’t a custom order and that I could have ordered over the phone which wasn’t specified to me when I originally asked. I was slightly annoyed that I had taken the time out of my day to go in to place an order in person when I could have done it over the phone but hiccups happen so I brushed it off and picked up several different flavors of ice cream for my family to try. I arrived around 4:00pm on 10/28 with additional cash in tow to place two custom cake orders to find out the cake I ordered wasn’t made! The cashier, Toby, apologized and called the owner who didn’t answer but called back a moment or two later. I was told that the owner would be in around 9:00PM that evening to make the cake! I asked for my deposit and sprinkles I had provided and left, as I was sitting in the parking lot trying not to cry over my baby’s birthday cake and finding a backup plan Toby came out and offered that the owner could come by and make the cake within the next hour. I declined and left. I then posted a negative review sharing my experience on Facebook to receive a response about how I was offered the option to pick the cake up in an hour and that pickup no specific time was listed on the paperwork....If I hadn’t been sitting in the parking lot for a good ten minutes researching backup options I would have never received the second “offer” to help rectify the situation. Never once was an apology made for the situation and my response to theirs that further elaborated on how I specifically asked about pickup time for the 28th was...

The workers there are very nice and they have a variety of flavors and types of desserts. The ice cream and water ice tastes very good too. Also, the time from opening to closing is reasonable and they open earlier for the seasons than most ice cream/ water ice places. This is my favorite place to go for ice...
