Read reviews and decided we’d give it a try… we were wanting some good hot dogs. It’s a little off the beaten path. First off, it’s called Coleman’s Drive-in. The name is a bit deceiving, as it most certainly is not a drive-in. We did end up going in and ordered our food to go . The inside was retro looking but could use updating. We ordered a bacon double cheeseburger, and a hot dog all the way. Also tried to order a hot dog with mustard, relish, sauerkraut. The waitress said “I don’t know what that is.” We asked again for relish and sauerkraut and were told they don’t have it. We ended up with just mustard and coleslaw (and there actually wasn’t even any mustard on it!) We also ordered a side of fries, as well as a side of onion rings. It did not take very long for our food to come out. The burger was eh. The fries were warm, but soaked with grease and undercooked. The hot dogs were underwhelming. And just an fyi, they do serve red hot dogs. The chili on the hotdog was good. The onion rings were the best thing we had, but super greasy as well. Price was okay, but definitely not somewhere we will need to try again when we are in the area.

we used to go here all the time back in the day and it is 1 of my core memories from my teen to erly 20s .... I stopped goin to tabor city for many years tho.... I was picking up a prescription from the tabor Walgreens and said to hell with it ill give um another chance. (kas the last time we went back in the day it was going down hill...) but to my surprise they have come back to their origins and everything was on point !! absolutely to the t!!! everything was fantastic and i will definately be returning for another double bacon cheese burger !! gotta ask 4 slaw tho!! but it was a large increase from last time and i was highly impressed .. if ur in tabor city check it out!!

Went with a group of six yesterday and everyone else in the group got their food fairly quickly while one person waited for 20 minutes for theirs. While other customers who ordered after us got their food. The only reason she got her food at all was because of multiple complaints from herself and others in the group. The owner was there and when she went to talk to him about her food being late he just walked off after she told him didn't say anything and she didn't even get her food then! Everyone in the group got sick with food poisoning except for one person. After mentioning to other people in the area we learned that apparently it's a thing to get sick after eating their food we can only hope others who have the same experience as ours start leaving their truthful reviews so others know not to waste their money at Coleman's. Unfortunately though since this is a small town people will leave good reviews just because of their closeness with the owner/staff even if it's...
