Taqueria El Mexicano — Restaurant in Taft

I have been to this restaurant many times and I have never had any issues up until yesterday. I went with a ONE STAR because I would like to speak to the manager.The sign on the drive thru had a different price for the pound of barbacoba and carne guidada. I called a bit ago and whoever answered gave me the same price as the drive thru sign , which is much less than what I was charged yesterday and when I told her what I had paid yesterday she changed it to match the price I was charged with yesterday. She changed the price twice. I was charged 21.00 more than what I was supposed to pay PLUS I was not given a receipt. We visit this location several times but it’s our first since it’s been reopened from covid-19. Our waitress took our order, delivered our order and never came back to check or offer us anything. On our way out we paid and the cashier didn’t say one word to us. It seemed like it was bothered to her that we needed to pay. I said thank you while leaving. No response. I would have thought during this time they would have appreciated not just ours but everyone’s business. Food is awesome 👏 Its not a fancy restaurant but the food is so nice that i have returned here for a meal on a very next day after having a lunch on a previous day.

Tried Chicken fajitas salad, Vegetable quesadillas & Chicken Fajita with Shrimp. Happy with the taste.

Only thing I don’t get is, how do they charge you, had an issue on my both visits and do not have clear math on how much did they charge for what.
