So here’s the story of how we ended up at this restaurant. The day before we had gone on a float trip on the river near town. We were decently intoxicated and very tired from our trip. We all went to sleep early that night so that we could wake up at the crack of dawn for our long drive back to Kansas. Upon waking up we decided we needed food to give us energy. As we were driving towards town we started reading reviews for this place and one stuck out to us. It said “Ate here. It nice”. That’s when we decided we needed to eat here. We arrived and the whole time joked about “it nice”. It looks like and old diner from the outside maybe a little run down looking. The atmosphere of the place though... it nice! The food was very cheap for what they give you! But the best part was the mugs. Their mugs were so nice that we joked about keeping them. So when we went up to the counter to pay I noticed that you could buy these mugs for $8.95. So I did it. Best decision ever. Now I have a mug to commemorate this lovely adventure. In the end that one random reviewer was...
Read moreThey have the phones at the table and you call back to the kitchen when you are ready. I had chicken fried steak supreme. It was good. Would like if it came with some kind of vegetable. It comes with choice of potatoe, toast, and side salad (just ice burg lettuce mix, dressing, and crackers not tomatoe or anything). My BF had the burrito supreme plate. It came topped with lettuce, tomatoes, and red onions. It also came with a side of salsa and a side of sour cream. He said it was good. It comes with round tortilla chips, but they said you can substitute with any kind of potatoe if you like. We also both had a large drink, he had soda, I had tea. With tip it was about $36. All of the burgers had either mustard, ketchup, or Miracle Whip, they don't have Mayo. My BF is not a fan of Miracle Whip, so he got the burrito. They really should invest in some Mayo packets or something because not everyone likes Miracle Whip, ketchup, or mustard, and who wants a dry sandwich? So, if you don’t like any of those options, 3/4 of the menu is...
Read moreMy mom & I visited Tahlequah, Ok August 18-20 2022. We pulled into Tahlequah around 8:30pm on Thursday August 18th. We were really hungry after a day of traveling. We saw Del Rancho & decided to give it a try. After studying everything on the menu we decided what we were going to eat. Mom decided on the Tahlequah Taco, she was very pleased with her choice. She said it was delicious & I did take a bite & wholeheartedly agreed with her. I chose the Fried Fish Basket & a side of Mashed Potatoes. My meal was wonderful, the fish was hot & flaky with a very good batter. The fries were hot & crispy on the outside with a nice pillowy softness on the inside. The side of Mashed Potatoes with Cream Gravy tasted like grandma made them. Such a smooth velvety texture. Del Rancho is a must try if you’re ever in Tahlequah, Ok. I’ll definitely be eating here again on my next trip...
