So here’s the story of how we ended up at this restaurant. The day before we had gone on a float trip on the river near town. We were decently intoxicated and very tired from our trip. We all went to sleep early that night so that we could wake up at the crack of dawn for our long drive back to Kansas. Upon waking up we decided we needed food to give us energy. As we were driving towards town we started reading reviews for this place and one stuck out to us. It said “Ate here. It nice”. That’s when we decided we needed to eat here. We arrived and the whole time joked about “it nice”. It looks like and old diner from the outside maybe a little run down looking. The atmosphere of the place though... it nice! The food was very cheap for what they give you! But the best part was the mugs. Their mugs were so nice that we joked about keeping them. So when we went up to the counter to pay I noticed that you could buy these mugs for $8.95. So I did it. Best decision ever. Now I have a mug to commemorate this lovely adventure. In the end that one random reviewer was...

They have the phones at the table and you call back to the kitchen when you are ready. I had chicken fried steak supreme. It was good. Would like if it came with some kind of vegetable. It comes with choice of potatoe, toast, and side salad (just ice burg lettuce mix, dressing, and crackers not tomatoe or anything). My BF had the burrito supreme plate. It came topped with lettuce, tomatoes, and red onions. It also came with a side of salsa and a side of sour cream. He said it was good. It comes with round tortilla chips, but they said you can substitute with any kind of potatoe if you like. We also both had a large drink, he had soda, I had tea. With tip it was about $36. All of the burgers had either mustard, ketchup, or Miracle Whip, they don't have Mayo. My BF is not a fan of Miracle Whip, so he got the burrito. They really should invest in some Mayo packets or something because not everyone likes Miracle Whip, ketchup, or mustard, and who wants a dry sandwich? So, if you don’t like any of those options, 3/4 of the menu is...

My mom & I visited Tahlequah, Ok August 18-20 2022. We pulled into Tahlequah around 8:30pm on Thursday August 18th. We were really hungry after a day of traveling. We saw Del Rancho & decided to give it a try. After studying everything on the menu we decided what we were going to eat. Mom decided on the Tahlequah Taco, she was very pleased with her choice. She said it was delicious & I did take a bite & wholeheartedly agreed with her. I chose the Fried Fish Basket & a side of Mashed Potatoes. My meal was wonderful, the fish was hot & flaky with a very good batter. The fries were hot & crispy on the outside with a nice pillowy softness on the inside. The side of Mashed Potatoes with Cream Gravy tasted like grandma made them. Such a smooth velvety texture. Del Rancho is a must try if you’re ever in Tahlequah, Ok. I’ll definitely be eating here again on my next trip...

Best food after floating the river, hands down. Every single time we visit Tahlequah to float down the Illinois river, we always stop in here after to get a bite to eat before heading home. It's such a cute place. They offer dining in, carry out, and drive up (like sonic). They serve fry bread with honey, chicken, burgers, chicken fried steak and things of that sort. The staff are always super friendly here. A bonus is that if you are fresh off the river and look a little windblown (to say the least), you aren't judged in here because every time we have been, there have been tons of individuals eating there who also came from a river trip!

What a classic diner atmosphere. You can sit at a booth and order food over the phone. The prices are very inexpensive. The service was friendly and efficient. I had the frito chili pie. It literally was a small handfull of dry fritoe with a scoop of basic canned cheap chili poured on with some shredded cheese. I mean, it was cheap, so meh. The banana pudding was so-so. The classic 1960s diner atmosphere, great service, and cheap prices were worth the stop. OH! Get the fry bread!!!! That was like an american sopapilla... so good!!!
