Bell's Kitchen — Restaurant in Talihina

My husband and I stopped n for a quick burger for lunch and the burgers we're on the small side but tasted good. We shared a side called "Bubba Fries" which was just simply cheese n bacon covered french fries that had the skins on them. Now if u think, judging by the name, that there would be a lot of fries to an order u would b wrong.. there was just the right amount. The restaurant boasted fresh homemade pies, while the pies might have looked good - I would not have ate any of them because from the time we walked into the place til the time we were paying, the waitress had the pies just sitting out on the bar area uncovered while others were sitting and eating their meals there, and even talking to the waitress and coughing over these uncovered pies. Now when the waitress finally covered the pies all she covered them with was one of those screen things designed to keep flying insects...

Stopped in to try the cafe for a little lunch. The waitress was friendly and polite. They were running out of items as they were going to be closed for the next two days for Christmas.

I ordered the catfish dinner with fries and side salad. The salad was small but the portion of catfish made up for it. The waitress made me fresh tartar sauce for my fish. The fries were a little undercooked for my taste but good. The catfish was excellent.

The wife had the chicken fingers with fries and salad. The chicken is hand breaded. Which is a plus. Overall a good meal.

The waitress is young and we watched as she went about her duties, a good worker who knows all the regulars. The wife and I enjoyed talking with her as she reminded us of our goddaughter.

Chicken fried steak over cooked and crisp , not eatable. WHY WOULD A COOK SERVE SOMETHING LIKE THIS? I had it replaced with a hamburger steak and it was WAY OVER COOKED. French fries very good. Service was a young girl, you can tell inexperienced. She doesn't watch her customers. She comes out and only looks at one customer and doesn't pay attention to her other customers. Almost impossible to get her attention.

MY ADVICE find another cook, this one is going to n put you out of business. Other customers in the restaurant were unhappy with over cookes sausage. Another couple left because the never...
