Update: I left my original review 3 years ago.. this place has become my go to for Chinese food, but I’m not sure what’s going on if it’s under management or new cooks or what but the food isn’t the same anymore at all.. the boneless ribs are not even strips anymore. They’re more like big chops. The sauce isn’t the same. I honestly had to return it one night. The staff did accommodate me and gave me something different, but however, I will never ever order boneless spare ribs from this place again and they have always been my go to for boneless spareribs. I’m disappointed in the quality of the food now…
Found this restaurant in a south Florida eat options group, was recommended to me, Decided to eat here today After trying and not liking most restaurants in the area.. I must say the food was actually good… the ribs was very tender which I am always on the look for because I don’t like tough meat.. anyway highly recommend this restaurant fast and polite. Not the best look on the inside but good food come out of there....
Read moreI have about 4 different Chinese food restaurants around where I reside. One of which has "okay" food with bad customer service. The other two I have never visited and the reason why I have never tried the other two restaurants is because I keep going back to Silver Pon. Their food really is very good!!! Their honey garlic chicken wings are the best between the 2 restaurants I have tried, as well as the house special fried rice. I even put my daughter's mother on to the restaurant and she says that she loves their food as well over the other restaurant. I've already saved their number in my contacts because if I ever get a craving for Chinese food, Silver Pon would be the first restaurant I call. Also, if you're reading this, try any one of their Chef's Specialties. The Hawaii Five "O" is so far my favorite but I plan on trying many of the 19 other...
Read moreFinally decided to order and I'm so disappointed. I got the fried chicken lunch special, shrimp fried rice and crab Rangoon, the rice lacked flavor soy sauce was definitely needed, and unfortunately like every other place has frozen peas and carrots, i miss the days when Chinese rice had onion, sprouts, and egg. The chicken was ok except for 2 pieces that tasted a little weird, but what kicked the bucket were these nasty crab Rangoon, I have no clue what type of wrap they use but it is barely chewable, taste like the wraps were stale, the outside was flaky but downhill from there it was either frozen and fried but didn't cook all the way or stale. Literally tasted like we were chewing paper. The worst I've ever eaten. Everyone spit them out, pretty much ate the Filling which wasn't much. I wouldn't recommend at...
