MY FIRST VISIT AT THIS PLACE WE WALKED IN WAS GREETED BY THE YOUNG GUY WORKING THE CASH REGISTER SO WE STOOD IN LINE AFTER DRIVING AN HOUR AWAY WHOCH WAS NO PROBLEM IT WAS MY TURN TO ORDER NXT BUT A GUY WALKED IN WITH A HAT ON SO YOU GET TO SKIP THE LONE HE APPROACHED TO ORDER BUT ASKED HIM TO STEP ASIDE SO I WALKED UP TO THE LITTLE OPEN JAIL HOUSE HOLE ON THE WALL WINDOW TO ORDER I SAID HOW ARE YOU TODAY TO RESPOND SO I ASKED DOES THE MEAL COME WITH TWO MEATS AND TWO SIDES AND SHE GOT AN ALTITUDE & STARTED TALKING WITH HER HANDS MOVING HER BODY I SAID OK ITS MY FIRST TIME HER I DNT KNOW BUT OKAY SO THE PEOPLE STANDING IN LINE SAID THIS IS WHAT EVERYONE COMPLAINS ABOUT THEIR ALTITUDES AT THIS LOCATION SO I WAS TALKING ABOUT IT AS I GOT CLOSER TO THE WINDOW SO IT WAS MY TURN TO PAY AND I ASKED TO POLITE YOUNG MAN TO GREETED US COMING ON CAN I SPEAK TO THE MANAGER AND HE SAID IS THERE SOMETHING I CAN HELP YOU WTH I TOLD HIM WHAT HAPPENED THEN HE APOLOGIZED AND OFFERED ME SOMETHING FREE I TURNED IT DOWN AND ASKED FOR THE MANAGER OR OWNER SO HE CAME FROM AROUND THE CORNER I DNT LNOW ANY NAMES BECAUSE NO ONE HAD ON NAME TAGS SO I EXPLAINED TO HIM HOW RUDE THE GIRL WAS IM THE BACK AND HE SAID WHICH ONE I SAID SHES TALL AND SKINNY HE SAID OH NO SHE NEVER GET COMPLAINTS NOT IF U WOULD HAVE SAID TT THEN I WOULD BELIEVE YOU SO ISAID YOU DNT BELIEVE ME OH OKAY SO I DECLINED THE FOOD AND WAITED WHILE THE OTHER PERSON I WAS WITH GOT THEIR ORDER AS I WAS STANDING IN THE LOBBY THE OWNER KEPT LOOK AT ME BUT NEVER SAID ANYTHING WE PROCEEDED OUT THE DOOR AS WE ARE WALKING TO THE CAR THE OWNER CALLED FOR ME TO APOLOGIZE I DECLINED BECAUSE THE SAME WAY YOU TRIED TO EMBARRASS ME IN FRONT OF EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE SAME WAY YOU APOLOGIZE I KEPT WALKING OFF HE TRIED TALKING TO THE OTHER PERSON I WAS WITH I SAID NOPE AND WE WENT ON WITH OUR DAY A LOT OF FLIES IM THE BUILDING NEED FLU TRAPS AND TRAINING THE STAFF BETTER BECAUSE YOU CAN HAVE THE BEST FOOD ON THE WORLD BUT NASTY ALTITUDES WILL KEEP PAYING CUSTOMERS AWAY ESPECIALLY IF THE OWNER IS TAKING OF FOR HIS STAFF AND NOT LISTENING TO THE CUSTOMERS AND KITCHEN IS DIRTY AND PANS NOT EVEN ON WARMERS JIST...

This BBQ spot really misses it in how it treats their customers. The entire line is full of first time customers which is evidence that they are doing a horrible job of retaining existing customers.
The owner talks down to customers when he is wrong. I really feel like there is a lack of humility in the owner. Your long lines are not justification to mistreat customers, it is evidence that you need to do better.
How you blame customers when you make mistakes (especially when you fail to write orders down). When you write orders down you are accurate and spot on, but when you don't its very clear because you blame the customer and try to use your employees as back up to blame customers as well. When you could have easily WROTE THE ORDER DOWN. Looking good in front of everyone waiting in line and appearing to be right is more important to you than treating your customers well. Getting loud and raising your voice when you didn't write the order down further tarnish your image. Where's the humility?
Long lines with no system. It's shameful that you would charge for a hat for customers to get to the front of the line, but when customers are waiting on food from you, you make them get to the back of line. You need to honor their first wait in line. You raise your voice when they don't understand your system.
You would think you would treat Black people better, but we need to stop rewarding you with our dollars so that you get it right. It's very shameful and you need to do better. Get a consult learn how to treat customers well. Then you won't need social media to hype up your business for first timers because we would take care of you as repeat customers.
Honestly, there is no humility here and no one should pay the high prices for your meals to be yelled and talked down having waited in long lines.
Remember, we are watching and will not tolerate your lack of care for customers and low level customer...
Read moreTo the tune of $136.00 today… Greedy Lee’s BBQ missed. 1 Tomahawk steak $50 with 1 side… Whole Chicken,Greedy’s link, order of Pork,Slab of ribs,mac&cheese,green beans,potato salad,baked beans,and two sweet potato pies… Out of Collard Greens…. The BBQ was ok and definitely not fresh. I don’t think the pork and chicken were portioned properly… The ribs I feel were, The link was ok as well definitely not fresh either. All of the bread slices were unnecessary and could’ve been separated from the meat to prevent soggy bread The sides were under portioned by 5 miles! The Tomahawk Steak meal was $50 and the potato salad was a spoon full to a sandwich container… They suck for that. The other sides were not generous at all and taste very store bought including the Potato Salad… Tastes like Sam’s Club sides warmed up and some seasoning added. They’re not signature at all. I will say that the staff was nice and friendly… For the price point they need to step their game up on these discrepancies listed. For the price point those sides should feed two people at best… And for all that meat that I purchased portion cups of sauce don’t cut it. Two small tubs at least when selling a slab of ribs and a whole chicken… That should be a rule of thumb… The standard… Overall I would visit again,but order...
