I am 100% sure that there is not enough negative adjectives in the English vocabulary to adequately some up how much I genuinely loathe this establishment. Whether you're being aggressively followed and all but accused of stealing every time entering the store, being insanely overcharged for every item they carry, grabbing onto shelves to keep from slipping and falling on unattended spills either from leaking machinery or ignored spills throughout the store, consistently short-changed when receiving cash change from transactions, being blatantly spoken about nonetheless laughing at your expense as you spend your money on overpriced items, being denied service let alone entry into the establishment for having the nerve to try and Shop there 15 minutes before they close their door for the day, or just being mistakingly overcharged multiple times on various items just a moment too late after mistakingly already running your card 4 the larger amount on several occasions.... The Interbay Meat Market makes damn sure that you don't only overpay for the privilege of buying generic items that name brand prices, they go the extra mile to make sure you feel lucky to have had the chance to do so. The only positive thing this store offers is it's location. If you don't mind over paying and being treated like a criminal in order to skip the crowds a Publix or Walmart 3 miles away then this establishment is exactly the place for you. Please don't choose whether or not to spend your money here based on my experiences. You get what you pay for and don't be foolish to hold out hope for anything as insane as a good shopping experience , feeling valued as a customer, or the ever elusive quality customer service that this place likely has never even heard of let alone delivered upon . Excellent location though . Very convenient if you can't drive or have no other options whatsoever . If there are other options do yourself a favor and choose any one of them. Again, this is only my opinion. You may very well go and love the place. I know why...
Read moreBack in 2004/2005 I found out about this place I was fixing the owners hot tub. It was getting late. Got out of his house about 7ish I wanna say. I was hungry for dinner. He told me he had this deli/store just a few blocks away and I should visit because it's really good food. He didn't exaggerate. I just moved back to Florida about an hour north. I came to visit friends in Pinellas County. They wanted to take me out in St Pete. I said no thanks. I wanna go to the best place to get a hot meal that I ever had in the Tampa Bay area. Healthy homemade type food. . So I left and headed str8 to the Interbay Meat Market. When you first walk in you can see it's so clean in there it's like hospital clean. Makes you feel at home. They have hot fresh meals for very reasonable prices. Excellent sandwiches, meats and chicken ect. What you remember also is the big smiles on "all" of the employee's faces. You can tell they are "happy" at their jobs. It makes your visit that much better. It's rare nowadays and greatly appreciated. This time I got the sirloin with peppers and onions. Mac & cheese and brussel sprouts. I read it off the menu board 8.99 with 2 sides. The guy serving was really friendly. I told him about how I first found them ect. When I got to the front where they put the food on. I hesitated as the sirloin looked like ground beef. I didn't have my glasses on. I almost changed my mind. Glad I didn't. It was sooooo good. Tender and tasty. Mac & cheese is exactly how Mom used to make it. The brussel sprouts were excellent. I'm not sure how they cook it spices ect but omgosh. Every time I'm in town I will definitely go out of my way to come here again & again. As you can see I finished everything on the plate. MMMMmmmm !!! The only problem I have with this place is they need to open more markets!! Come to Leesburg. We need you badly. lol Don't change anything. Still rocking after...
Read moreI've shopped at Interbay Meat Market since the beginning of 2018...I regularly purchase sandwiches and ribs from the meat counter. The sandwiches are great...typically the ribs are as well. Unfortunately today I purchased two racks of Baby Back Ribs and they were spoiled upon opening the wrapping when I got home. They smelled of eggs. I called Interbay and advised them. They offered to exchange the ribs if I brought the bad ribs back. On one hand...I get that they wanted to check the ribs for themselves to make sure they were spoiled but on the other...as the consumer, it felt like they didn't believe what I was saying. At no point during the conversation did they offer a refund either...and I didn't ask for one as I wanted to give them the opportunity to do the right thing. I highly recommend visiting Interbay Meat Market for their counter food and sandwiches however I would advise against purchasing meat there at this point. I spent about 45 bucks on ribs that are in my trash can now.
Edit-Interbay left a kind reply below. Review edited...
