Crosstown Creamery — Restaurant in Tarlton

Got there at 1:30 and we were the only 2 people in there. We sat for over 30 minutes and only were served our drinks. We were told 10 minutes after ordering that our side salads were coming but then 10 minutes later my husband asked our waitress when we were getting our salads and she told us any minute now. We then watched them bring out food for a table that came in about 10-15 minutes after us. Again we were told our food was coming. After 30 minutes and many times of us being told our food was coming we left. As we got up to leave the waitress was coming out with our side salads. I can understand if a restaurant is busy then it may take 30 minutes to get a side salad, but we were the only one’s there when we got there and in the 30 minutes we were they only sat one other table. Bad experience all around. We should have got up and left but patiently gave them the benefit of doubt. After being told our food was almost ready, about 15-20 minutes later the waitress returned to tell us some of our order wasn’t available, we made substitutes and then waited, and waited, and even seen a couple that came in a while after us get their food(some of what the waitress just told us they didn’t have I will add). Finally some of our food arrived. While my Daughter and I waited for our food, it was discovered that the one order that did come was partially raw. We waited for our food a while longer, watching the waitress sit other tables and take drink orders, then finally went back and came out with our food, after one bite of cold food, and not wanting to hear any more lies and excuses, I paid the bill and we left, huge waste of $63 and an hour and a half...

My wife and I have been through Tarlton many times on the Harleys and in a vehicle, but never had stopped at crosstown creamery. Well yesterday evening we was coming back through town and decided to stop and try it. We was very impressed. My wife got meatloaf with green beans with mashed potatoes and gravy and I got the chicken fried chicken with gravy on it mashed potatoes and fried brussels sprouts and I had never had fried brussels sprouts and they were delicious The young lady that waited on us was very very nice done everything, kept checking on us giving us anything we needed asking if we was all right and I was very impressed with her and I gave it a 11 out of 10 that’s how good they was.
