In August, I ordered 2 Sicilian pizzas and a large Hawaiian. When we arrived for pickup, there had been some kind of mistake & our pizzas hadn't even been started. After waiting about 20-25 minutes, the food was done, so we grabbed it, not even complaining about the mixup, & headed home. Once I got home I opened the pizzas only to discover that BOTH Sicilian pizzas were burnt (nevermind craters of missing cheese) & that the toppings of the Hawaiian were almost fully missing from the middle. See pictures. I called Leo's back within minutes of arriving home & the person I spoke to assured me that they would replace the Hawaiian & a Sicilian (I hadn't even mentioned that all 3 pizzas were messed up because I FELT BAD).

Today I called in for our promised replacement pizzas and it took over 8 minutes on the phone for the hostess to inform me that they would only replace ONE of the two pizzas. Nevermind that they had made a promise to replace 2 pizzas and that in actuaIity ALL 3 OF THE PREVIOUS ORDER were ruined and super late. Its's hard to see how burnt the Sicilian was in my pic bc most of it was the bottom & crust of both, but if you zoom in you can see burnt cheese & edges.

I was irritated after I placed the order & still had the pizza photos in my phone. I arrived to pick up the pizza & when I walked in & asked to speak to the owner, the hostess said "she's here," as though they were waiting for me to argue. The owner didn't even acknowledge the fact that both of our Sicilians were burnt that day & turned around & blamed us for the Hawaiian mess. Claimed we must've tipped it over at some point. Said "people do this all the time." Zero responsibility on the part of the business. And considering that neither myself nor my bf are reckless enough to tip a pizza that was fresh from the oven, and that I only live a few minutes away, I can say with certainty nobody on my end tipped the pizza (which magically only managed to affect 1 of the pizzas, although we carried all 3 at once). Additionally I didn't drive like a NASCAR driver all of the 6 minutes back home, so it wasn't that either...once again, only ONE of the pizzas was a mess despite all 3 being carried & driven home. Honestly this accusation by the owner that WE were at fault & the implication that we were just trying to get free pizza was DEEPLY INSULTING. When I told the owner that I had been there a million times he had the nerve to say "I've never seen your face." To which even the hostess had to admit was only bc my bf usually went in to get the food when we ordered. My mother so kindly did the math to find that we've spent $1174 & change in the last year at this poor excuse for a replacement Tony's (now located on Sullivan trail if you want better pizza & service) and this is how they treat their regular customers?!?!?!? I've had better experiences with Verizon customer service, & we all know how bad that is! Never again, & I hope people have a chance to read this review & choose accordingly. Or to read last year's newspaper article that I only just discovered about Leo's.

I included pics of 2 of the pizzas that were messed up (I hadn't bothered to take a pic of the 2nd burnt Sicilian bc I hadn't mentioned it to them). Had I known this experience was coming I would have brought all 3 back to show how screwed up they were. Although I imagine even if I had done that, somehow it would also be our fault that 2 of 3 were burnt. Because I control the oven too, right?!?! The second 2 pics are today's pizzas, which oddly enough aren't ruined by us despite the same handling, driving & route we took last time. The Sicilian, however, is severely lacking cheese & the Hawaiin is under-cooked. Oh, also included the text my bf sent when we arrived & they hadn't even started our order, just in case Leo's tries to claim that part...

We used to get pizza here under the previous previous owner and name. When we heard that a new pizza place was open, decided to give it a try. Sometimes it’s hard to find a good pizza place that is consistently good. The reviews so far seemed positive and the menu is expansive- not expensive lol - there are a lot of items to choose from but is that a bad thing or not?

Called ahead and ordered Sicilian pie and the Antipasto salad. The new look of the restaurant is nice and modern, and they were very friendly. The items in display look delicious- I want to try the garlic knots and the pizzelles(?) next time. I wished I had checked the Sicilian before coming home- I think they stacked another box on top while it was waiting for me to pick it up and the cheese pretty much stuck to the box lid 🫠 FAIL! They might think about buying those little tables to put inside to keep the middle of the box from touching the pizza. Just a thought! That aside- the Sicilian pizza was actually very good! The sauce was not super sweet nor too acidic, it was a very good balance. The crust was light and had the right amount of chew. It was crispy on the edges which I like but some may not. The cheese is good quality (not the industrial cheese you buy in bulk lol). I would def order this again but would like to try a regular pizza next time! The antipasto was great too. The meat & cheese, lettuce mix and tomatoes were all fresh and tasty. The only problem was the oil vinegar dressing lid has an open hole in the center and the dressing spilled in the bag (not all but enough).

Overall, this is def a refreshing choice for pizza in the area! The food was great and better than a lot of other places. The takeaway containers just need to be handled better, but those are easy fixes compared to a business who produces bad food. Leo’s DOES NOT HAVE BAD FOOD, IT’S EXCELLENT QUALITY AND as time goes on they will continually get better. Can’t wait to come back to try the other pizza and some of the...

Leo's is a new resteraunt in our town as of sept. 28th. We had 2 meals here. Friday wich is our normal, and sunday because we had a car show. I have to say we have enjoyed both meals. The pizza is good, nice thin crust, the sauce I though was on the sweeter side. Cheese is good and Pepperoni has a nice bite to it. The bacon was a good tasting crumbled. Now the french fries are an average. I'm hoping they might change them up. Suate'd calamari was good but fried is still my favorite. My husband had the Hawaiian pizza. We added bacon. It was delicious. Fridays dinner was cheese steak and onion rings. The steak had a red sauce more marinted, not on top. I liked it. It had a chance to soak into the meat. Bits of onion, and cheese melted throughout all on a soft roll. I enjoyed the onion rings, large battered and sweet. The pizza we had was a mix of a white pizza, no ricotta with regular pizza sauce and extra cheese. Our mix and mashup. Was very good. We also tried garlic cheese bread. Omg, if you like garlic you will love this. One of the soft rolls with mozzarella cheese and sliced fresh garlic. Not sure of the spice. My husband had the tuna salad. He said it was very good. Thin slices of red onion, rolled slices of provolone on a bed of greens. Him and my son shared the mozzarella stix they said were realy good. If you get a chance you have to try it out. If my review was helpful please...
