We travel through Tatum often and have enjoyed the Burger Barn food for years. The cheeseburgers are always a treat and something we look forward to. I had a total knee replacement 2 weeks ago in Lubbock. I had been terribly naive about the pain and other physical difficulties that accompany this procedure. One comforting part of the plan to transport me back home had to do with the fact that we would be able to stop midway in Tatum, have a good Burger that enabled me to take my meds, and a lovely, clean bathroom where my husband could physically assist me. The lady who waited on us when we came through the first time was gracious and accommodating. Lovely experience. However the second trip for post op was a different story. I had not known about the acute leg tremors and spasms that occur in one’s legs from severed nerves when you get the least bit chilled. We walked in, again appreciating the smell of good food, placed our order and then tried to take a seat. Because it had recently rained, the ac was keeping the room very cool. I’m certain it wasn’t too much for most under normal circumstances. However the chill in the air began to spark the nerves and muscles in my legs. I kept walking around with my walker trying to calm my legs and find a place that wasn’t under an ac duct. We were the only ones in the restaurant. This apparently made the young waitress nervous. When my husband reached up and shut off an air duct the waitress came undone demanding he switch it back which he did. I began to try explain. She was so unreasonable she would not hear any explanation, accusing us of being rude and eventually asking us to leave. We got our food and ate in the car. Will we go back? It’s a great stop for us and the best burger anywhere around so yes. However if we walk in and see that young waitress I...

The year was 2020 and it was the Great American Road Trip. My family and I had been stuck in our Subaru Outback, AKA the Dad Mobile, for WEEEEEEEKS. "Hey look! Burgers!" I said. "Sure. Whatever. Let's do it," my wife mumbled unenthusiastically. Can't blame her either as we had been eating nothing but fast food for a while. We ordered our food, cheeseburgers and fries with a coke and pulled into the shade of a tree near a church and ate in shock. After being on the road for weeks, eating all sorts of garbage, finally...some real food. The burgers really shouldn't have been a big deal. Nothing unusual. Just a big old serving of classic Americana. Seriously, how good could a burger get? Mind blowingly good. That's how good.

It was soo good, we are planning on driving from our home town of Round Rock TX all the way to Tatum NM to visit Tiny's Burger Barn JUST to get another round of cheeseburgers soon. This place is totally humble and, no joke, the best cheeseburger I've ever had. If your just passing through, don't miss an opportunity to stop here and try it for yourself.

Seriously, it's been over a year and I'm still thinking about this place and passionate enough to go out of my way and write this review. That...

A Hidden Gem for Authentic Home-Cooked Burgers and Mexican Food!

I recently visited Tiny Burger Barn, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. The food here is truly amazing - it's like eating in someone's home where everything is cooked with love and care. The burgers were authentic, flavorful, and reminiscent of a good old-fashioned home-cooked meal.

The service at Tiny Burger Barn is top-notch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. They were quick to ensure we had everything we needed, which added to the warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Moreover, the cleanliness of the place was impeccable. From the dining area to the restrooms, everything was spotless, making for a very pleasant environment to enjoy your meal.

If you're looking for an authentic burger experience with that home-cooked touch, Tiny Burger Barn is the place to go. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates good food, great service, and a clean,...

We where traveling with a trailer and they have a big parking lot. Great for semi’s and trucks pulling trailers. We also had our dog with us, yes they had a large, lots of tables and chairs on their covered patio, but they also had picnic tables that were covered and plenty of trash cans. Vary clean for outside public space. The food was good and I like the variety of options. Different Coffees and Teas, boba teas. They have drive through, so if you are passing through and just need something, you don’t even need to get out of the car. The cashier/waitress was really sweet and professional about her service. Something you don’t find a lot of these days.

We stopped here on our way back to Texas from Roswell. Unassuming, quaint building, but those are always the best. The staff were very sweet and thoughtful people. The food was delicious. I had a cheese quesadilla and added mushrooms and onion. Everything was homemade. My wife had the soup of the day and I almost stole it from her lol. Their drink selection is almost as big as their food menu. We got the coconut tea and that was delicious. They have the sonic ice!

Rare to give a little burger joint in a little town 5 stars, but this place earns it! Our burgers were perfect! Juicy, well cooked patties, delicious fixins, fresh vegetables, great onion rings and fries, and delicious pies! Order the Spicy BBQ burger - not burning hot, but a just-right warm glow and great flavor. Well worth your stop when driving through li'l old Tatum NM. Try the new "Tatum Tots" (picture)!! RECOMMEND!
