Vicky's - Pizza Pro — Restaurant in Tatum

I’m from southern NM where the Mexican food is night and day different from ETX. I have lived here for years and this is the closest place to the food back home. It has lots of flavor and spice! It’s what I would call “real Mexican food”. Mrs. Vicky is very nice and is a local and is proud of being from Tatum and you’ll see various Tatum senior kids’ pictures on her fridge in there. She provides quality food for a reasonable price in a timely manner and is polite to customers. I’ll say this, the Mexican place right up the road in orange shack, is somewhere I’ll never return to after eating Mrs. Vicky’s food. The owner of that place is rude beyond measure, their version of Mexican food is super weird to me, peas and carrots in their rice, hardly any hominy in their menudo and no ground beef in anything?! Mrs. Vicky knows what’s up! I only wish they were open during dinner time too and that they offered full plates of entrees with beans and rice instead of just burritos and tamales because...

So, after reading great reviews about this place, we decided to try it for the first time. It said hand tossed pizza, and it was a frozen piece of flat bread dough like you get at the grocery store. The cheese didn’t even go out to the edge of the flatbread crust. it wasn’t spread evenly. It was just clocked on. It wasn’t even cut well as we had to get it home and re-cut it again.
