Online, I ordered Christy’s lady lock/clothespin cookies, a cookie sampler, a strawberry pretzel pie, s’mores, chocolate-covered bacon, and chocolate-dipped stroopwafels. The lady lock cookies had a sweet filling and a crispy shell and were among the best lady locks that I have ever eaten. I also enjoyed the cookie sampler, particularly the buckeyes, snickerdoodles, seven-layer bar, and peanut-butter blossoms. The strawberry pretzel pie had a very unique but pleasantly sweet flavor. The s’mores were large, entirely covered in milk chocolate, and were the best-tasting s'mores that I have ever eaten in my life. The chocolate-covered bacon, although not my favorite combination of ingredients, was a good quality. Awful. I had some of the worst sweet bread of my life a few weeks ago (i literally couldn't tell if its was trying to be banana or zucchini bread so indistinguishable was the lump). My wife dragged me to this event in Sharon a few weeks ago. She went to visit some of the vendors in the upstairs part of Michael Anthony's, and came down stairs excitedly jabbering about these confections she had just purchased. I ordered a last minute cookie tray from Christy as a gift. I was amazed at the dedication to her customers, she personally delivered the cookie tray, which was 2&1/2 hours from her bakery.
