The Burg Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Taylor Township

This review is overdue and I am sorry I didn't write it sooner. My wife and I have been ordering from here through DoorDash for a couple months as well as using their website to order pickup. I'd say we've had like 10 orders since we found them. We haven't had a bad meal from here. The food variety is amazing. The quality is insane. I'm a big wing fan and have been exploring the different rubs and sauces (there is an ENORMOUS selection and you will for sure find a flavor that works for you). The wings are always perfectly cooked, nice and crispy, and the flavors have been crazy. Personally, I'm a huge fan of the lemon pepper and the wing dust. They really go hard with seasoning, but it never overpowers the flavor of the chicken. We've tried the bacon burger and it is really good too. The beer cheese for tots and burger is a fantastic beer cheese. Not overpowered with beer flavor, but enough of it there to really enhance the cheese. The cheese curds, especially if you get wing dust on them, are phenomenal. I seriously can't say enough about how good the food is.

When I go in to pick up our order, the staff is usually pretty busy, but also courteous. Even though it's a fast interaction, the staff is always super friendly. One time during pick up, we had to wait a little bit cuz it was super busy. Not a big deal, that happens. What impressed me is that the bartender asked if I wanted a drink while I waited. I politely declined because I was driving, but it was really hospitable of her to do that. I've been other places where they just ignore you while you wait. It was a fantastic touch.

let me start by saying the food here is great. and a couple of the waitresses are very nice. but one is so mean that we won’t be back simply because of her. and we frequent this place. i get that this is primarily a bar, not really a restaurant and the bartenders are waiting tables too, but when you are waiting on tables and bringing drinks to the people you want to bring drinks to, and then tell a HANDICAP PERSON with ONE LEG and limited mobility that if he wants a beer HE has to go to the bar? when you’re bringing other tables drinks? yikes. favoritism at its finest. like i said especially when we were frequent flyers there and have been nothing but nice and patient with staff when things take a long time. sad to have to remove this place from our list of places to eat. maybe if she quits we will come back but i’m not...

Food was excellent no complaints there... The service on the other hand left a lot to be desired, we came on a Saturday at 6:30 and it was completely packed, understandable, however walking in there was nobody waiting tables and there's nowhere to stand while waiting. Finally got a table, took 15 minutes to get our drinks, another 20 or so minutes before our order was taken and an hour and a half to get our food, I saw the disclaimer on the menu and that isn't where the real issue was, we had like 3 different servers, one who took our order, one who delivered our order and one who took our cards to be ran... Nobody came to our table for over an hour to see if we needed anything, I get being busy but 2 hours at a bar getting only food is a bit extreme. Would return again on a less busy day but too chaotic to go on...
