Twist & Shake — Restaurant in Taylor Township

Nice little out of the way place. They have great ice cream with 1 or 2 flavors of the day as well as vanilla and chocolate soft serve. Their burgers are good and tasty. The price is also good for the food given.

Only issue is that they DO NOT take credit cards. They only take cash.

Another thing is that they have picnic tables under car ports for eating there and no bathrooms. It's nice sitting out there in the summer eating ice cream. For bathroom, there is Keller's gas station down the road.

All in all, a great place to eat. We are here many times...

People are not nice on the phone to the customers and you get over charged if you order a sub/hot hoagie .You get 1 burger or grill/ crispy chicken portion placed chopped up on top of the roll with filler vegetables stuffed into it to make the product appear full. This is a cheat scam done in the mid to lower cities to get more money for less potion. I'll not go back. And what a shame as my friends and family were always so excited to have this place open, and sad when their season ended....

This small, drive-up eatery is a bit of an oasis in a fully rural setting. The food is great with generous portions and the reasonably low pricing is from yesteryear. Service with a smile and you wonder why more icecream joints can't get it right like this. I will get a chocolate malt shake everytime I pass by and my wife gets the grapenut flurry.
