I hosted a bridal shower for a family member here and was working all morning with the staff and was left with empty promises. When discussing our event I picked out certain napkins and on the day of the colors were wrong. I was told I can have a rectangular table by the door since our sign in book is very large and on the day of the event I was told they didn’t have any rectangular tables. When we were let in the night before to drop off all deserts and fruit for the next day the man unlocked the door and disappeared and never helped us ti put it stuff in the cooler. We had to take it upon ourselves to go in the back and put of food away and then got yelled at for it the next day as if we had any other option. When I asked for the napkins to be fixed I was told there wasn’t enough of those napkins even though I seen in the back there was plenty. The staff was very pushy and wanted things there way any idea or vision I had was crushed by there “years of experience” on top of it all we had a kid friendly shower and the staff was not at all kid friendly. The one staff member was extremely rude to the children. At the end of our event the kids were playing and jumping as kids do and she said “how about we play a game called clean up your mess” if it was a light hearted joke we would not have been offended but it was said in a very rude and arrogant way. We paid for 40 plates worth of food and was told we can take home left overs and we only received about 20 plates of food in total there was little to no left overs and we did not get everything we paid for. It also wasn’t very cleanly the floor specifically was absolutely filthy. When preparing and decorating in the morning I took my heels off for maybe 15 minutes and my feet were black. Some of the children ripped there shoes off and by the end of the event you were able to scrape the grime off there feet. While eating the staff came over about 5 times to ask if we were done within the first 10 minutes of sitting down with our meal we were absolutely rushed and they started cleaning up before guests even started leaving. We paid 300$ for a charcuterie board that got thrown away before we were even asked. We were told before the party that we would be able to take all left overs after being upset with how little food we were sent home with the owners excuse was they never send home left overs. Like I said empty promises how are you going to make us pay for food and then not send us home with the left overs? I would absolutely never recommend this restaurant to a friend. Don’t...
Read moreBYOB This was my first time at this restaurant. I was thoroughly impressed.Shame on me, I didn't do my homework ahead of time to find out it was BYOB. There is a winery in the same complex called "Talerico's Tropical Wines" but they were closed. 😥
The four of us were greeted and seated quickly. We offered a complimentary glass of white, red, or rose' wine along with a small bowl of pasta, bread and shrimp. It was almost a meal before the meal.
We all ordered a different entree between chicken & spinach risotto hold the spinach, along with classics such as shrimp scampi and chicken parm. My dinner companions were quiet will they tucked into their own dishes. We sampled each other's dishes and to me there wasn't a bad one out of the bunch.
To me, the star of the table was my drunken gnocchi with chicken and shrimp. The pillow soft gnocchi was expertly sauces and practically melted in my mouth. There was a fair amount of chicken and shrimp. Make sure you grab a piece of the bread to mop up all the sauce left on your plate. We didn't leave any room for dessert so I can't discuss them.
The service was top notch, she added nice touches to her service such as: Our waitress brought us a carafe of raspberry iced tea instead of making us wait to get refills. She brought us extra napkins and takeout containers without being asked. And, if we wanted dessert before presenting our check. You may feel that some of these nice touches should be common sense or good business practices and I would agree with you; however, I can say for me personally they don't always happen when I go out to eat.
Thanks for reading my thoughts on our dining experience. Take care of yourself and...

Act I: The Mysterious Cancellation Once upon a recent time, in the not-so-far-away land of Lucca's Restaurant, a dastardly deed was done. A baby shower, shining beacon of joy and diapers-to-come, was unceremoniously cancelled by a phantom caller. This spectral saboteur, dubbed 'Not-Missy', wielded the phone with the finesse of a fumbling ferret, leaving behind a trail of confusion and unconfirmed cancellations.
Act II: The Silent Treatment The plot thickens as our heroine, Missy, armed with nothing but emails and earnest inquiries, sought to unravel the mystery. Alas, her digital missives were met with silence, echoing in the vast void of Lucca's customer service. The head count, once a promising number, became but a whisper of what could have been, lost in the winds of indifference.
Act III: The Unforgivable Stress In a cruel twist of fate, our expectant mother, nearly 30 weeks along, was thrust into a maelstrom of stress, courtesy of Lucca's lackadaisical approach to event management. The sisterhood, once a fortress of support, now trembled under the weight of this unprofessionalism.
Epilogue: A Plea for Karmic Retribution As the curtains close, our mother-to-be makes a solemn wish upon the stars: may the karma chameleon feast upon the soul of the mysterious canceller, for they have not only dampened the spirits of a party but have rained on the parade of a celebration for life itself.
Moral of the story: Steer clear of Lucca's Restaurant, for their reservation book is as reliable as a chocolate teapot, and their regard for expectant mothers is as warm as a...
